This episode it's time to change gears (which is important to do now and again, if you want to be able to be around for the long haul), as we head out on the highway only to discover that the Stephen King short story Trucks is a long, long way to go to get to the diner.
And then once we're in the diner, we need to find a way out, except there's something that doesn't want to let us leave, and that thing is ... yeah, you guessed it, it's trucks. Trucks that can drive themselves. Trucks that can HATE. Trucks that want just one thing, and that thing is for human beings to be OUT of the driver's seat.
Not to pump our own tires, but this is probably the most digression-filled episode we have recorded yet. Somehow, though, we got through the whole thing before running out of gas! So crank up your AC/DC greatest hits tape, get ready to dip your bucket into an unusual source for water, and try not to get too too upset that we spend about as much time talking about the (first) movie they made of this as we do the pages of ... Trucks.
