Friends-Only Post No. 9: Is That a Gun in Your Pocket, or Are You Just Glad to See Me?

Last episode, we introduced you to shooting star Mack Bolan, The Executioner! We got a lot of feedback and we got it in a hurry, so let's get down to it, boppers.
First, somebody took us to task for not mentioning clumsy Bolan rip-off The Punisher, a character that neither J. nor I give the thinnest sliver of a shit about. That said, we live to serve, so we rapidly convened an extra-special recording session so as to right this wrong.
Sadly, the recording didn't come out, and J.'s side of the conversation was lost. All that was left was one minute of frothy, surging audio.
Second, we might have mentioned here and there how tawdry this book is, but I didn't feel like we truly did it justice. Which is to say, I hadn't gotten to read the full scene where Mack Bolan makes a friend. Of the ... lady persuasion. So here you go: Mack Bolan meets Mara.
WHAT THE HECK?
From Reader Juke Box Hero Level Eric Fakelastname comes an intriguing followup that's pretty close to my interests: DEATH METAL.
And not JUST because I'm reasonably certain that's Mike Rowe on the cover. (If it really WERE Mike Rowe, the enemy would be union organizers, not a Scandinavian metal band, but we can leave that for another time.)
