2022 In Review

It's been a while since I had time to do a review post, and it's a great time to recap my first calendar year on Patreon.

Because I am a nerd, and used to be an administrator, I have a writing spreadsheet. You can see a crop of the reports page above. Here's what all that crunchy data means for you, my beloved readers.

• I wrote and published 575,000 words!
  

That's a little over 8 regular size novels in 7.5 months. If you're behind on my stories, as I know some Patrons are, that's because you're subscribed to a Novel-A-Month club. 😂

With the backlog of work I started with, we are well on our way to having three quarters of a million words available to patrons.

•  I published 3 ebooks with your amazing support.
  

I'm not exaggerating at all when I say that the ebook versions of Roommate, Baby Briana, and The Beach House wouldn't exist without your support. 

Getting a part-time job and surviving the holidays has put a crimp in my ebook schedule, but you'll still be seeing kindle versions of the rest of the Briana books, plus more of my stories.

• I learned a lot about running a business.
  

Some of the things I did worked, and some didn't. I'm excited to take that knowledge into next year and be an even better creator for my fans. Like every first time business owner, I was both over and under ambitious at the start.

It takes a lot of behind the scenes stuff to deliver content. I'll keep getting better at that so that you can enjoy a smoother, better reading experience.

• We brought Briana and Melody's first story to an amazing end in Little Sister Briana and A Family For Briana.
  
• Silly fun was had with a pair of poly couples in Polycule Daycare. 
  
• Reader stuffies saved the day in Stuffie Quest.
  
• Keeley got her first story, and some teasers for a second in The Beach House.
  
• JaM sprung out of the AB: Sitter series and became one of my favorite stories almost overnight.
  
• Delta Lambda Gamma has been a fun, flexible hit. One of these days I'll figure out poll options that don't swing wildly one way. 😍
  
• Adult Changeling is a bit of a niche story, but it's got some really dedicated fans. It helps me scratch my fantasy writer itch too.
  
• Halloween fun was had in a silly parody entitled The Tammy Bambino Picture Show.
  
• Sarita made her debut in Getting Little and will be wrapping her first novel up in the first week of 2023!
  
• Briana and Melody came back to steal the spotlight for a bit in A Diapered Christmas Carol.
  

What's Next in 2023!

• A sequel to Getting Little - No info on this yet!
  
• The start of The Safe Harbor Trilogy, beginning with Little Lady Briana.
  
• More JaM and Delta Lambda Gamma
  
• Another Wednesday Patreon Exclusive Story - Currently I'm thinking shorts like AB: Sitter, but connected by something in the narrative rather than a single main character.
  
• The 2nd and 3rd Found Family ebooks with bonus content.
  
• The 2nd Baby Girl Project novel, A Trip to the Playa
  
• The return of AB: Sitter - I'm not sure how many chapters I'll do, but Mrs. Michaelski-Naverrete seems like she'll have additional authority and it'd be a shame to not explore that.
  
• More Behind the Scenes Content - You requested it, and I'm still figuring out how to best make it work, but I'll get there.
  
• A Character Wiki - This one is tentative, but the ever-awesome DL Hoss1 has offered to populate a wiki so that we can keep track of my constantly expanding shared story universe.
  
• More babies, more caregivers, more feels!

I'm over the moon that I get to make writing a permanent part of my life, and that I get to share stories with so many awesome people.

Every comment or theory about my stories is amazing to read, as a window into what people think about my characters and their struggles.

I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to 2023. There will be huge struggles coming up - I'm moving to another country and continent, for one - but I'm excited to face them and grow my audience. 

It's because of you that these characters exist and we know their stories. Thank you all so much for supporting me. Every Patron I've interacted with has been an absolutely lovely person. You're an amazing community and I want you to know that I'm grateful to you every day. ❤️
