Baby Girl Project Book 2 Sneak Peak
Added 2022-08-19 18:01:02 +0000 UTCWork has begun on the second Baby Girl Project novel: A Trip to the Playa. No release date yet. I was supposed to work on DLG today, but wasn't feeling it. Got inspired for Keeley instead.
Keeley will take a road trip with her nannies to Black Rock City, where the Burning Man festival awaits them. Check out an excerpt from Chapter 1, below.

“I don’t want people to see me – like when we went to the Sea Witch. I can’t go in a car all the time in – in a car seat – and a diaper – and baby clothes.”
“Baby girl, calm down, you’re going to hyperventilate.” Vidette stroked Keeley’s back. “We aren’t going to expose you like that on the road trip. I feel bad for the Sea Witch thing. We went a little far. Though, you did get Trish out of it....”
“That’s not fair.”
“Isn’t it?” Dominika lightly flicked Keeley’s nose. “You like her a lot. She likes you too, even though you’re still with Zach.”
Keeley whined. Now they were guilting her. Unfortunately, it wasn’t unfair guilt. She hadn’t talked to Trish about Zach nearly enough. Hadn’t been honest about her relationship with him at all.
Maybe if I do this, they can help me fix things with Trish. They’re my nannies – if we play. They HAVE to help me. It’s their job.
Both her friends were quiet, watching her. Keeley shifted her weight from foot to foot, huffing and squirming. They were patiently waiting. The tension quickly grew unbearable.
