Them parachuting in is from the movie Red Dawn and the scene the Soviet’s invaded. The problem in the US is old people vote so politicians are hesitant to do anything.

2023-10-31 10:54:57 +0000 UTCthe event they are referencing literally happened in my home town when i was growing up, it was 2003 when this 87 year old man accidentally pressed the gas when he thought he was pressing the brakes and plowed through 70 pedestrians at the Santa Monica farmers market in Southern California killing 10 people including some children.

My older cousins and I stacked in lake house because of storm and they showed me pirate copies of season seven (with fan dub, since none of us knew English). In the middle of episode our grandparents joined us and also enjoyed it.
