Outbreak Scenario 18
Added 2025-01-03 16:21:18 +0000 UTCYou’ve survived the initial outbreak and now must choose a long-term safe haven. Each location offers advantages and challenges. Let's assume that you can take control of the place that you choose.
Which one do you think would work must for the long term?
Point Reyes Lighthouse, California: Perched on a rocky cliff, this isolated lighthouse offers panoramic views and a defensible position against threats.
Cheyenne Mountain Complex, Colorado: A vast underground military bunker designed to withstand nuclear blasts, complete with its own power and water systems.
Block Island, Rhode Island: A small, self-sufficient island with limited access points, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean.
Lookout Mountain Cabin, Georgia: A secluded cabin in the Appalachian Mountains, with natural resources and defensible high ground.
Alcatraz Island, California: Famous former prison surrounded by San Francisco Bay’s cold, treacherous waters, offering isolation and security.
Luxury Yacht in the Pacific: Out at sea, self-contained with fishing supplies and solar power, away from any land-based threats.
Comments
I'm conditioned to believe that if it's the lighthouse, if it gets overrun, there's nowhere to go but up and you can only go up for so long which is the same for highrise buildings. The islands are great for isolation but you will have to leave to scavenge and that can be treacherous plus storms can destroy your base, boats or food. Cheyenne sounds like the best option.
