Zombie Exodus: Safe Haven Sneak Peek

Here is another of the 5 speeches that have been written for the elections in chapter 14. Since my last post was the moral speech promoting unity and cooperation, here is the opposite style of speech for those playing a ruthless MC who demands loyalty and tribute from other groups.

    You look out across the ragtag group of survivors gathered in the junkyard, their eyes filled with fear, anticipation, and determination. You feel the weight of leadership on your shoulders as you prepare to share your vision for the group in this zombie-infested world. Clearing your throat, you speak up, your voice carrying a sense of authority that demands attention.

    "Listen up, folks! I've got something important to tell you, so pay attention. It's been three hellish weeks since the world went to shit, and if there's one thing I've learned, the old rules don't apply anymore. No more rules, no more laws. It's just us against them. And by them, I mean the undead and every other group of sorry sons of bitches out there. So, no more Mr. Nice Guy. No more 'please' and 'thank you.' We're done playing fair."

    You pause for dramatic effect, a sinister smile spreading across your face. "Now, I know some of you may be thinking, 'That doesn't sound very nice,' or 'What happened to helping our fellow man?' Well, let me tell you, that kind of thinking will get you killed in a heartbeat."

    Your voice rises, filling the air with electric energy. "We're not going to sit back and wait for others to pick us off one by one. Oh, no. We're going to strike first. We're going to be the ones they'll tell horror stories about when they're huddled around their pathetic campfires."

    Your eyes gleam with excitement as you continue, "We won't be pushed around by anyone. You hear me? If anyone thinks they can mess with us, well, they've got another thing coming. Now, I'm not saying we're all gonna become heartless monsters. But we have to face the facts. There's no right or wrong anymore. It's just us versus them, and I'll be damned if we're going to let them win."

    The wind whistles through the junkyard, adding an eerie soundtrack to your impassioned speech. "We're going to become a force to be reckoned with, my friends. We'll carve our path through this new world and do it on our terms. So, buckle up because we're about to embark on one hell of a ride."

    As you finish speaking, you can see the resolve in the eyes of the survivors, a mixture of fear and determination that fuels their newfound purpose.
