Added 2022-11-08 01:20:48 +0000 UTCAs I write Part 4 of Zombie Exodus: Safe Haven, I'm spending more time and effort on romance. In Part 2 and 3, I gave you the choice to switch romantic options at multiple times. Some of them did not seem realistic to me, but I put them in as a game mechanic. For example, when I ask who are you most interested in, it's not happening the way it does in real-life. However, some players want a direct question. In this poll, I want your opinion on how to address changing ROs.
For those of you who are not interested in romance or don't care as much about it, don't worry. I'm still adding a lot of adventure, horror, zombies, and conflicts with other survivor groups to Part 4.

Personally, I think the MC’s charisma and social skills should factor in whether RO decide to stick, even if the relationship dynamics becomes… complicated.

2022-11-08 05:01:39 +0000 UTCQuestion, would that start affecting from the very beginning to part four or part four strictly because I believe that in part three, I also feel it's a little bit unrealistic that you get a chance to change your RO especially at the end of chapter 8 which, makes no sense because if you have already asked them to join you in your trailer/home. Why would you choose anybody else? I can definitely understand for example let's say, you have both higher romantic for Rachel but then Jillian starts liking you a lot at the middle of chapter 9 and you have the choice if you want to select her as a romance option but I think I would like more like how other books do it you know? Such as, if you interact with them more like Mindy from the first book. as your relationship stats with them goes up, a lot more higher of a possibility you can have them as your main NF those stats start colliding with one another, somewhere in the book just like at the end of chapter 12 if you're in a relationship with Kelly but you have Bailey at the side so, Kelly will bring it up to you making you have to choose between kelly or Bailey.
