Zombie Exodus: Safe Haven scenario poll
Added 2019-11-08 14:00:04 +0000 UTCAs part of a mission I'm writing, the MC will face a small challenge while returning to the Junkyard. This challenge will be a moral test and reflect the changing attitudes and values of people in the apocalypse.
Roadside robbery - the MC witnesses a man and woman robbing a group of teenagers. As the MC moves closer, they spot a 3 year old toddler is with the thieving couple.
Pregnant couple - the MC crosses paths with a pregnant woman and her partner in a beat-up van. The couple asks for food and supplies. The MC will have to decide whether or not they want to give anything to the couple, but at some point the MC will notice the couple has lots of food and supplies in the van already.
Stand-off - The MC comes across a pair of police officers outside of a barn. Inside the barn are several survivors who are in a standoff with the police officers. The police tell you the people inside are thieves, and if you help them capture the people inside, they will reward you with a portion of the stolen goods. However, after talking to the police you doubt their story.
Construction Site - You come upon a group of people on a raised floor of a building under construction. Only steel beams and some plywood floors are erected, making it the skeleton of the building. Wandering below the raised floor are a dozen zombies. The people are trapped in the building with no firearms and ask for help. While you consider the request, you notice a few locked supply bins past the zombies.
Which do you choose?

Oh, I would want the people at the construction site to be able to add to the group if it does in that direction. Probably complicated, though.

I'm so torn between which one I want, because they all sound so interesting and can lead to situations that get sticky fast (in a good way haha so much potential angst!)...I think I'll go with the pregnant couple, but I also really like the police officers stand -off.
