Added 2019-08-25 20:10:10 +0000 UTCIf you've read my newsletter from today, you heard briefly about my health issues. I don't usually get into my personal life, not that I'm opposed to sharing, but because I'm assuming most people are here to talk about my games. So, here goes...
I've been dealing with kidney stones and other issues related to them. Yesterday, I spent the day in the emergency room. I had planned to spend this weekend finishing the beta but obviously have not been able to do so.
Also I will be having surgery at the end of September. It's a complicated surgery, because of my underlying disability (I have Spinal Muscular Atrophy). If all goes well (and I'm expecting it will), I'll be out of commission for a week. I don't know the dates just yet. Since most of my Patreon content comes out at the end of each month, I'll need to change some timing of posts.
Tomorrow, I will post a beta update of roughly 12,000 words. In week 1 of September, I will post another update of 5,000 words. The next big update will be in week 3 of September, followed by another update in early October. Then, I'll be on track.
As for my newsletter and monthly article in September, I will post them before my surgery.
All of the above is not ideal, but I feel you'll get all promised content on a slightly altered schedule. If you feel this doesn't work for you, please feel free to unsubscribe to my Patreon. I hope you will rejoin at a later date. For those who are fine to stick with me, first off, thank you. Secondly, I have a lot planned for the future and am confident you will enjoy it. I take your support of me very seriously.

Take the time you need to recover... I believe you've got a good amount of supporters here that are likely to stick around. There's no such thing as a simple surgery as they all come with risks of complication. Take care...
