You could also increase base or specialty resource gathering by the skill percentage/level in unique settings. ie. Research Laboratory might have lab equipment/resources that you could take to do further research. What you could obtain could be determined on your skill level in the relevant skill; science, electronics, medicine, crafting, etc. Scavenging while good for general resources might not be the only way of locating/picking needed equipment that would be better obtained by other skill(s). So I'm suggesting a location based variation depending on the level(s) of skill a character possesses in addition to regular scavenging. Thoughts?

2018-05-06 23:10:54 +0000 UTCBroadaxe / felling axe and saws for the old log cabin options or for those with a little more manpower think you should look up Palisade on Wikipedia, more specifically of the colonial era.

2018-05-01 22:59:04 +0000 UTCGrin... A still for medicinal purposes - sterilization / antiseptic as well as distilling alcohol of a drinking sort needing lab equipment, water, starch (potatoes would work well) and a heat source. It could also be a potential boost to morale if handled appropriately. I'll look into a few other basic 'contraptions' that have been improvised for hundreds of years and some more recent for a few ideas.

2018-05-01 02:06:57 +0000 UTCI would love to add more crafted options, especially for non-Crafting skills. It's just time and energy preventing it. If I come up with an idea for an item, I have to code crafting it, have to make sure enough materials are in the game, and then ways to use it. I do still want to add more but have to be smart about it. I also wouldn't mind some ideas from players.

2018-05-01 01:37:07 +0000 UTCZesh question... crafting tilts heavily towards engineering making weapons, explosives, camp improvements etc. There are a few other skills like electronics, medicine, and science with specialty items that can be made but they seem scant in comparison. Is this planned or just circumstances? For example making gunpowder from the proper chemical components could be high guns or medium chemistry skill. Distilling alcohol could be another chemistry skill. Guess I’m asking if there’s going to be options for those other specialty skills as the story progresses.

2018-04-29 02:24:47 +0000 UTCNot a timeframe but more info on it. Timing is very tough to predict, but when I give a timeframe and ALWAYS miss, I get a lot of flack for it. I can explain the publishing process though. Welcome to my Patreon.

2018-04-29 01:08:38 +0000 UTCLOOONNGG time fan here! i love the series and i love your work. with this new newsletter will you perhaps give us a timeframe for the new safe haven missions
2018-04-29 00:44:48 +0000 UTCWould you ever write a short epilogue about how the characters would react/cope should our MC die? I have often thought about this when reading both ZE games, for example, if the MC dies during the fight at the hill, would Jaime be able to cope? If there is a romantic interest, how would they react? And what would become of the group without the MC there?

2018-04-28 23:30:28 +0000 UTCWhen writing these NPC side story, what is the general policy towards the MC’s influence? So far at least Rachel and Sifer haven’t met the MC, but what happens after they had potentially interacted with the MC? Sifer for example don’t show up on the highway with Gina if we didn’t met.

2018-04-27 23:25:23 +0000 UTCIn part 3 is the number of your relationship with others survivors important? For example one of my profiles I'm romancing Bailey and my relationship with her is somewhere in the low 90's,is that number gonna have any significance or no?
2018-04-27 23:19:39 +0000 UTCAre you going to write anything else this year along side ZE SF?

2018-04-27 22:29:29 +0000 UTCOnce again, that void that ZE fills is currently gone. I have replayed it about 30 times since Part 2 came out... and now I'm depressed. I can't wait.... literally can't, I may die 😰. Jk, just eager... keep writing lol.
