Wicked Little Town in Romania

Hello Humans,

I’m writing this blog backstage at "Form Space" in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

Somewhere between soundcheck, makeup and the merchandise I've found a moment of quiet to share something with you all.

Touring with Combichrist is incredible and surreal in equal measure, but of course, a tour of this size and length can be all-consuming, and it's difficult to get even one minute to yourself at times.

It's important for me to unplug and today feels like the right time to release my cover of Wicked Little Town, from one of my favourite musicals Hedwig & The Angry Inch.

If you haven't seen it - I highly recommend.

This song has followed me around for years. It's a bittersweet, broken-hearted lullaby that would've sat well in the middle of a Birdeatsbaby set... but I guess that's not going to happen now so I thought I would just record it for you instead.

My voice was a little hoarse when I recorded it.

Rehearsing for Crimson Veil is very taxing on the vocal cords and this key is also a little low for my range.

I loved singing it anyway, and hope you enjoy this moment of quiet with me, wherever you are, whatever you're doing.
