Hello Humans...
Thank you for your patience while I get back on track.
Today was a good day.
I went to work at Not Saints, taught some music lessons and wrote some music. I was occupied and busy, and had little time to be sad.
I'm still a little low, processing my grandma's passing but I know it is for the best and she is at peace.
I saw my family, and we bonded over old memories. It was actually really lovely to pull together.
I plan on doing a EP over the next few months, writing and recording it on her piano.
It will be a wonderful tribute and through the music I can tell some of the stories from her incredible life. She will always be a huge inspiration to me.

---
Anyway, soon I'm going to have a brand new HVIRESS song for your ears!
Next week, you will be the first people to hear Black Diamond Villain.
The music Hana and I created for this upcoming album is seriously exciting, I just know you're going to love it...
---
However, today I just have for you a poem I found in an old songbook.
It's called "Caeser", and I really love it.
It's been kicking around for a while and it's high time I shared it with you.
It might become a song but for now here it is, I don't really know what it means but for some reason I feel it's appropriate.
Hope you enjoy reading it.
CAESER
I was idle at your grave
Never knew the dead could hurt me
Upside down and ugly
I saw straight
Became the arrow
Wounded, I took pity
And let my silence fester
Let the cancer take me
To humbled below
I stare up at the glory
There's nothing underneath
You, retelling sad story
Howling in the grief
They will all betray me
I saw in sleepless dream
See Brutus in the mirror
And Caeser, the unseen
