Chickens are my spirit animal

Dear beautiful humans,

I've been feeling for some time that we need to rename the "patrons" title... first we had Flock... then Demons... I thought maybe Veils... but I'm not sure these sit right anymore.

I am currently weaving so many threads that I feel a new group name is on the cards.

Any suggestions? I’m thinking about it …

Anyway, don't ask me why there is a picture of Opeth as the title photo.

It was an abandoned post I'd forgotten to edit and when I logged in I just thought, well, that's a cool picture.

Secretly we would love to tour with Opeth... now we are on the same label it just might happen.

We shall see... in the meantime enjoy the rather excellent photo of one of my favourite bands.

So, what can be expected this month?

CHICKENS AND QABALAH?

I've been studying a lot this month and tearing through books and podcasts on well-being, spiritual growth and manifestation.

My next book review is a particularly interesting one, it’s a book called The Chicken Qabalah of Rabbi Lamed Ben Clifford.

It's the first book on Qabalah I've actually been able to vaguely understand, which is a big deal for me as I've been studying magick for years and this is a huge part of it.

For me, my spiritual journey co-exists alongside my musical journey and it will be exciting to share these new insights with you all.

BACK TO THE PIANO

I've been really getting back into writing on the piano this month.

Excited to share some sketches with you... some may turn into songs, some may stay as solo pieces but either way I'll be sharing it with you.

Stay tuned for some keyboard recordings this month.

I've always enjoyed being quite open with how I spend the patron money (a lot of it goes on the general running costs of being a musician), and this list can act as a project plan so you can see when something is achieved because of your amazing backing.
