Pillow fights... busted tyres... stranded in Czech!

Darling Patrons,

What a week!

On the return journey from MetalFest (pic above) our tyre popped on the motorway and we nearly crashed.

It was terrifying!

Thankfully we were able to pull over quick enough (expert driving skills from Garry) and we got towed to safety. 

This is the last time The Fuggler is allowed behind the wheel.

It was a crazy adventure but we made it back home eventually and in one piece.

The Gods of Metal are looking after us!

The show itself was incredible. Never played such a big stage in my life.

I also had (for the first time) a burning half moon sceptre (from the Flinch video) which made an amazing finale with our newest song Opulence.

Right after we finished playing the heavens opened and there was a torrential downpour.

We felt very sorry for the soggy crowd and very touched that so many people showed up to watch us.

There was even a few people in the crowd with Crimson Veil t-shirts on so we know we're making waves in Europe already!

Here's my favourite shot from the trip - see our newest member of the crew Mikko, who is now doing our sound. He is an absolute sweetie.

This is us on the final stretch of the journey home, phew.
