Epic tour debrief. And what is next?

To my dearest Flock,

I write this to you now from bed, fighting off the end of the "tour flu". I'm nearly back to full form.

And what a tour it was.

Life is pretty magical right now.

I feel a little bit like I used to as a child, when I first discovered music.

It felt like everything was possible, and a little bit like every day is "playtime".

Sounds a little weird doesn't it? I'll try to explain.

When people ask me "what do you do?" I reply, "I play music".

It has only recently occurred to me what this really means.

If every day is dressing up, singing, dancing, laughing, prancing about on stage with your best mates then I don't know what else I can call it, except playtime.

Last year I said to myself "next year I want to have some fun again with music", and I'm pretty sure this is it.

Playing in Crimson Veil has given me a fresh start, a new voice, an identity and a pathway fowards that I can only describe as exciting!

Getting up on those big stages every night has felt exhilarating, terrifying, and at the same time completely natural too.

It feels like I'm coming home to that child version of myself and letting that playful side of me just run wild...

LORDI were very kind to us, and by the end of the tour we had really bonded. They had watched our show, had favourite songs and even some of their crew were joining us on stage... here is Ralph (actor, props, all round legend of LORDI crew) about to be HEXed.

For those of you I didn't get to see this time round... don't worry.

Crimson Veil is just about to lift off and I think later this year and next there will be some pretty extensive touring so we will get around to as many places as possible! Let us know where you want us to tour!

I feel like a livestream is long overdue. I'm aiming to perform some songs, have a chat, answer questions and also share a little secret preview of what's to come (hush hush).

So... Tuesday 21st May I shall be with my piano, ready to play for you all and to connect with the Patreon Group once more.

I can't wait to tell you about all my adventures and I look forward to seeing you then.
