Dear Patrons,

It’s been yet another month of madness here… still holding on by the seat of my pants, but I am so happy to be able to share with you this:

A brand new song.

One I’m very proud of too.

This song (and all remaining from HEX) is now so super-secret that I must ask you to not share it with anyone at all. 

As I may have hinted before our next album has been picked up by a label and if/when things go forward this will be one of the main tracks from the new album, so will not be released for many months yet. I have been asked to keep very quiet about it.

This means that everything I share on Patreon with you is now even more exclusive, hehe.

So please listen, enjoy, but keep within this community please.

It's strange and dream-like, going from nightmare to bliss and back again. I worked for many months on my death growls and feel like they began to peak during the process of this song.

Garry came up with the main riff during a late night writing session... Hana and I work the death growls/lyrics together and Anna just smashed the crap out of the drums. Weirdly it came together quite quickly, most of these songs have taken a long time to craft. The cherry on top is the guitar solo towards the end. 

Video is already looking mighty, we caught the last day of summer sun and filmed in an outdoor location with Scott.

I guess it's about the end of the world and the chaos surrounding us as everything comes crashing down... the chorus is about drowning in waves of emotion and feeling free in the knowledge that it will all be over soon. 

It's also very bi-polar.

For me, the lyrics and form of the song relate directly to the extreme contrasting emotional states I can swing between.
