Some sad news... but I will be back soon

Dearest Demons,

Before I tell you what's to come this month, I need a very sad announcement. In case you didn't see on our Discord thread or socials, my beloved pug and best four-legged friend Henry passed away this week.

It was a little bit unexpected that it would happen this soon, so I am understandably quite devastated and waiting for normal life to resume beyond this huge change. He was by my side nearly every day for 12 years and the best animal companion a girl could’ve asked for. Life will never be the same. 💔

Please bear with me this month while I navigate through this cloudy time, things might take a little longer than usual. I am very fatigued with grief and finding the simplest tasks quite overwhelming.

However, moving on I have some much more positive things to share with you. From now until the end of the year I will be releasing songs from our upcoming HEX, right here on Patreon. Some of you have asked me when I would be releasing them, and the answer is NOW. Finally!

I have hinted that there has been some very exciting movement in the BEB camp, so we have pushed ahead with completion of the album a little sooner than expected, which means I can start releasing songs here. 

The remaining songs will be…

• Flinch (a bi-polar death-metal meets dream-pop)
• aWake (yet another song about drowning, but with more chords)
• Joyless (7/8 and 5/4 in latin witchcraft)
• Opulence (I don’t even know what this is, but there are choirs)
• TASK (12 minutes of intense toiling)

Excited? So are we. Can’t wait to share these with you, and thank you for helping us foot the production bill… we couldn't make this album without your funding.

In the meantime please hold tight while I take a few days to get my mojo back. Usually my best songs come from my darkest times so I am awaiting a flood of creativity but for now I just need sleep... hugs... cake and more sleep. I am looking after 2 other very elderly dogs (George and Gloria) who are grieving with me so we are snuggling a lot and I am most definitely not alone in this process. My amazing friends are helping to carry me through this, and thank you to all of you for your support here on Patreon too.
