May Musings... what's to come

Dear Demons,

Just a quick update to let you know what's coming (hopefully) by the end of the month.

Thanks to your support and advice from the last blog, I've been able to stick to more creative things this month, such as writing and recording. It has been such a welcome relief. I'm on the cusp of finishing multiple songs now (including lyrics!) so I think whatever you get at the end of the month it will be original AND brand new - woohoo!

So let's get into the details...

PATREON REWARDS THIS MONTH:

1. Livestream - Tuesday 30th May @ 8pm

Garry and I will be performing new and old songs from my side-project The Chemical Perils, on accordion and double bass. If you're new to patron then you can listen and download the album we put out this year here.

Album number #2 is on the way so we'll be working on new songs throughout the year.

The livestream will also be a chance to ask us any questions and also chat with Garry about his role in this band... and what he's been doing for HVIRESS. Very exciting.

2. New Song - Exit Plan

Yes, I wrote a new song. Wow. It's been a while. I don't know where this one is going and for what project, but I definitely know it came out of the depressive stage I just went through recently. It felt very cathartic to write.

I'll be giving the song it's own blog to explain but what I can tell you now is that it's for piano and vocal, and has a lovely arrangement that is very classically influence. I hope to get some bvs from Hana & Garry, and maybe some lovely double bass.

3. Photobox

This month has been another flurry of various activities (those of you on discord have been aware of this!), including Hana Piranha rehearsals, a wedding, recording with The Qwarks, writing and recording with Catherine Elms, a session with Georgia Train... honestly so much creative stuff is coming your way so expect a lovely box of pics this month.
