Waiting for the fractures to illuminate...

Dear Demons,

In the spirit of being honest and sharing the lows as well as the highs - I have to tell you, the last few days have been clouded with a very low depression. I have not been mentally well at all.

Part of my bi-polar cycle means that as well as the soaring, creative and energy-full highs there is a flip-side that leaves me devastated, weary and huddled in my bed for hours, or sometimes days. Due to several unpredictable factors (an emergency trip to the vets and a small flood in the studio!) it was a particularly bad one, and I wasn't ready for it. It kind of flawed me.

I'm definitely coming out of it now, this morning I did yoga, went to my group therapy and now I'm blogging... I just feel like I'm at the bottom of the hill again and ready to climb. Life is back under control and I'm remembering to breathe.

Thankfully I have a lot of wonderful support around me - Simon our manager swoops in to take over social media when I'm feeling to introverted to share, and I have Hana and Garry in close proximity. My dogs are also extremely cuddly. I am a lucky girl.

Anyway, enough sadness - onwards. I have my vlog ready for your eyes! It's a really good one, coming in at about 12 mins, featuring...  new collaborations, writing lyrics in the bath, the Catherine Elms piano-project, bass guitars, musical discoveries and so much more that I can barely keep up with myself! 

Maybe this is a sign to slow down a little bit this month...? I shall try.

Illuminate - The HXMX

This month's patreon-only release is going to be a beautiful remix (from Third Bloom) of our last single, Illuminate. I will be releasing it at the end of the month, and live-streaming for you all on Friday 28th! 

Simon should be joining me so you can expect better camera angles, sound and lighting haha! If you missed the last one it's up here. 

I haven't decided which cover we'll be doing this month, but I believe Garry has some ideas...
