HTWC - The official documentary is released!

My dearest and faithful patrons,

Another month of weirdness has come and gone. Lockdown is becoming normality and I’m scared of it being over and simultaneously can’t wait for it to end… it’s a strange feeling. 

It’s been very up and down, I have to say. I know some of you are thriving and some are not, but one thing is for sure, we are very happy to still be making music, videos and art for you lovely people. It’s actually been a really positive thing for us to focus on so thank you for that, it’s keeping us going and determined to come out the other side.

A highlight this month was having you all at the webcast, we really felt it was our best yet. We had more people tune in than ever before so it made us feel very loved. We’ll definitely be doing it again, and making some tweaks to the audio/video to make it even better. Do let us know your suggestions/feedback and thank you for joining us. The comments were epic.

We also received donations that really helped with our finances this month so THANK YOU to everyone who contributed, it was especially appreciated.

This month I’ve also been doing piano "masterclasses" and zooming with you all, the final one of these just finished, and thank you so much for joining me. I’d be very happy to continue these sessions fortnightly, if you enjoy them. Perhaps we’ll keep them quite loose and informal, and I’ll just take song requests and perform, rather than deconstruct things… we shall see. I’m certainly enjoying the staring competitions ;)

Anyway, the main "thing" we’re putting out this month is our full-length documentary "How The World Conspired" (plus the main live webcast which you can watch again here if you missed it and my piano classes/chats are all available to watch again in The Patron Facebook Group).

It’s been a labour of love with some very special people - Matas, Gemma and Dan from Aylsebury, who have been our directors/video crew. There’s a lot of detail and care gone into it, with some very tidy editing, and I honestly think it’s one of the best "things" we’ve ever done, certainly the best documentary on Birdeatsbaby that exists. If you are in a music project or something that needs a video team… get in touch.

Another lovely thing is that all your names are in the credits, so when it goes public later this year, we can tag you in it. You are directly responsible for helping us fund this particular project, so thank you again!!!
