Dearest and most wonderous patrons,

I have fantastic news. 

The album is complete.

Not only complete, but mastered beautifully by Bob Macciochi (an absolute whizz and long-time friend of BEB). 

It finally sounds balanced, and shiny, and fits together perfectly with lovely cross-fades and tiny, fragile moments that can be heard against mighty walls of noise.

The mix as you know was done by John Fryer (the guy behind Depeche Mode, Cocteau Twins, Gary Numan, Swans, This Mortal Coil). He's done a fuck-ton of incredible projects, if you google him it's very very impressive. It definitely has his signature sound that is both filthy and raw, but with a lovely shimmer, and very, very high-end production. Mmmm. 

It's quite different. 

But still very much us.

We hope you like it. Please give it time to fall on your pre-conditioned-Birdeatsbaby-fan ears and try to listen to it as if you were listening for the first time, to a totally new band. There is a lot to take in. It's quite hectic and grandiose. But it is very real. We did not hold anything back.

The album is 1 HOUR AND 8 MINUTES LONG. By industry standards it's fucking huge.

Anyway... you guys have only been hearing unmastered versions of the songs, which lets be honest can sound a little peaky and distorted at times, or too quiet. 

We've made further adjustments to things. 

These new versions are polished and lovely, and more delicate on the ear.

THE THINGS TO COME...
