Yes that must’ve been Philippe Thyraud de Vosjoli, the liaison man in Washington between the SDECE (French intel) and the CIA. Interestingly, he and Brandy met years earlier in Havana as we will come to see. Really looking forward to sharing this one 👁️

I gather that many of the gun smugglers to Cuba in this time were working under this capacity, in an unofficial employment with the agency, contrarily to official on the books CIA officers such as E Howard Hunt and David Atlee Phillips for example.

The similarities in the story and description of the two sheas suggests they’re the same person - was Holthaus’s telling the correct one or the one that says the arrest was on Martinez?
