Friday Feature: Wither
Added 2025-08-29 11:56:36 +0000 UTCWither was my first original content story. Urban Fantasy Superhero Romance, inspired by Rogue and my love for Fantasy and Urban Fantasy. Those of you who've been here for a while have probably seen me post about it in the past. It was originally written well over a year ago, but went through several revisions. The biggest one being, this is now my first story where the main character is a woman. Throughout Wither, I try to balance fantasy and romance equally. For Fantasy readers, it's an Urban Fantasy/Superhero story with Weak to Strong and Portal Fantasy elements. For Romance readers looking for specific tropes, this is a light Enemies to Lovers story with a bit of reverse Grumpy/Sunshine.
Like all my stories, Wither is a Jumpchain. The Jumpchain aspects are completely hidden and not revealed or hinted at during the story.
This update includes the entirety of the first Act (Chapters 1-7)
This story is complete and will be published. I'm in second pass editing now.
