Progress report:
Rogue: Arc 7 Draft: 138k words.
Arc 7 was supposed to be a transition Arc, like Arc 4, covering the time between Iron Man/Hulk/Thor and the Avengers. It was not supposed to be very long. But it's turning out to be far longer than I planned.
On the public sites, Arc 7 will be where Rogue Replacement splits into a new story. Some of the things that happened in Arc 1 are mirrored or called back to in Arc 7. I tossed in a plot that I had planned later in the story but felt like it needed to happen before the events of Arc 9.
Arc 7 should end up similar in length to Arc 5, around 165k words. If it drags on too long, I'll combine chapters.
If I can count properly, the last chapter of Arc 6 will be posted on public sites on Christmas Day. I intend to put the first chapter of Arc 7 up on the same day. So for Patrons, you'll get a double posting on Christmas day. The first two chapters of Arc 7 are long. Public sites they'll be split into 5 parts, each posted daily, but Patrons will get them all at once.
