News on the 2nd channel
Added 2019-07-17 22:20:20 +0000 UTCThank you all for voting in the poll on whether I should start a new channel or not for science experiments. I've taken your thoughts into considerations. I've been really thinking about this for a while.
Despite the majority of my patrons voting not to make a 2nd channel, I'm going to move forward and make it. I believe videos of conducting science experiments would clash too much with my educative/illustrative content on QFS. In addition, I'm concerned that the science experiment videos may get buried or forgotten among the QFS videos as they would be totally different from the main content and would be uploaded less consistently. Experiments take far longer than regular content, and are more costly, so they'd be less frequent. I would rather have a channel dedicated to just these videos then upload them once every 2 months just to get buried around the other content. Questions for Pseudoscience works well because it's the same template as the QFS videos, ans the transition is really easy. I'm not looking forward to starting a whole channel from zero, but I am excited about this new series. I don't plan on launching anything soon. Hoping late summer-mid fall will be when I'll have a small library of videos for the new channel.
