December is still a long way off, so it may seem a bit strange to talk about it now, but you'll see that today's announcement is directly related!

Over the years working at StoneKing I've usually reserved December to make a set that I found interesting but didn't fit the rest of the year, and it's mainly been about sets set in an urban environment, with scenery and miniatures. Although this year I also had a similar release planned (which we'll have at some point), I've had an idea that I find more interesting. So in this post I'd like to tell you about That Idea and ask you to let me know your opinion through an open vote for all patrons, so here we go. For this December I'd like you to tell me "HEY!...

MAKE THIS MINI!

Make This Mini will consist of just that, a set of miniatures proposed by you. Between September and October you will have the opportunity to publish the description of an adventurer, monster, hero, creature, robot, villain, animal... Whatever! Simply a character out of your mind that you would like to see made. After a while we will open a period for everyone to be able to vote for those ideas that seem most crazy, interesting or striking to you, and once the vote is decided, during November I will work on those minis, having them ready for the December release! There will be certain rules that I will describe below, although apart from those I would like you not to hold back when proposing your ideas!

Well, in general terms this is the idea. So now I have to ask you, what do you think? Should we go ahead with this idea or should we have a launch with the usual method? Please vote in this post for your choice! Voting will be open until September 16th (inclusive) and whatever the result, I will post again next week to announce it.

Below is a summary of the rules. Later I will publish more detailed and expanded rules.

-Only one idea per person can be proposed.

-The miniature will be made in the usual StoneKing style

-It must be a miniature (not a figure or statue) that fits on a base between 25 and 35 mm

-The miniature must be unique, only one main character with a maximum of one pet or mount.

-The model may include a modeled base.

-The miniature will not contain NSFW elements (eroticism, nudity or explicit violence) or sensitive themes.

-The miniature will not be a replica of, nor will it be based on, any concept licensed by third parties.

-If applicable, I will not accept images or extensive descriptions of real of real people as reference.

-The miniature may be of any setting or theme.

-The miniature and final files will be subject to the same conditions of use as all StoneKing products.


Please DO NOT post any mini ideas here. There will be a dedicated post for that later. Any proposals outside the designated post will not be considered.
