Hello everyone!
The July release is here! It's been a long time since I modeled an upgrade for a board game and with this set we can say that we broke the streak. You will see that there is little more I can say that I have not already said in the presentation post, but let's do the presentation properly. In this set we take a chaotic train trip through the West: Train Assault!
This set is modeled with the Colt Express game in mind. Colt Express is a family-friendly and somewhat chaotic game from 2014 (so 2024 marks its 10th anniversary!) in which outlaws try to loot as much money as they can from a train. Despite its incredible artistic section, whose die-cut cardboard train is the main axis of the game, the outlaws were represented by wooden meeples. All Train Assault figures can be used as replacements for said meeples. Here you have the outlaws!
And of course, treasure tokens are also an important element, so they also have their model!
But now comes the most IMPORTANT clarification of the set, and it has to do with the size of the miniatures, please read this before printing. Different editions of the game have been published over the years, in different countries and regions. I have not been able to find confirmation that the same scale and size of the trains has been maintained throughout those editions. For this reason I have decided to keep my usual size of the miniatures, instead of trying to adjust them to fit the different trains, this way they can also be used in any other Western setting system. Please, if you intend to play Colt Express using the miniatures, before printing them adjust the scale to ensure they fit.
With this, it is time to update the MyMiniFactory code. As always, I remind you that this code is valid throughout the month and gives a 60% discount on all items from previous Monthly Releases in the MyMiniFactory store.
That's all for now! Whether you are going to use this pack to upgrade your games, or to include them in a Western adventure, I hope these bandits give you a good time and don't leave you broke. See you soon!
