A new month, a new set! And also, one that I think was quite expected. In August we added a new part to our ArcadianHQ line. It's the turn of the Ogres!
Ogres are a threat with very simple behavior: smash things, eat things. That's most of it. So in this set you will find just that, 4 slightly-larger-than-usual enemies, inspired by classic fantasy games, along with a couple of extra variations and additions. Let's see them step by step.
Let's start with the most "basic" units. Although each of these monstrosities is its own one-ogre army, any of them can also serve as the leader of a larger troop.

Next, we have what I imagine as the Ogre Lord. The one at the end of the dungeon, mockingly waiting to finish off those who might make it that far. And as such, I also included an alternate version of him, sitting on his throne.

And, of course, a model of just the throne is included. Once a stone piece of artisan craft, now destroyed and reconstructed matching the taste of its new lord. It can serve as a objetive marker, or just scenery.

Finally, we have an addition that may seem somewhat strange. So I think an explanation is convenient. As you may know, I'm based on classic games material to plan the sets, and even though there is no mention of an ogre wizard anywhere (and ogres as such don't seem much into magic) it was fun trying to imagine what that character would be like. So, from this idea that ogres live to eat, I created this sort of "cook-mancer" who can serve as both a cook and a shaman within the clan. What do you think?

And one more little note. Normally, along with the model files, I include a file of simple bases, just in case you need to print them. This time, in addition to the usual ones, I have added an intermediate size one, 35 mm, which I think is better suited to these models. I hope they are useful to you.
That's it for this set! And although it seems incredible, with this we close the core part of our ArcadianHQ line!! But wait, does that mean it's over? Is it the last we will see of this line?
Well, no. Throughout all these sets I have focused, as I said, on the core part, the most recognizable troops, the final bosses, the classic heroes and all the basic material necessary to relive old adventures. But along the way we have left many monster leaders, recurring npc and alternative versions that are also worth tackling, some of them offer very interesting opportunities! So maybe in the future the sets will be a little less focused, more diverse, and with varied content (but I will always make it clear what the set will include), but there is still a lot of work that can be done! Is not over!
And now, to close this post, here is the new discount code, which will be available throughout August. Using this code, you will get a 60% discount on all previous monthly releases available in our MyMiniFactory store.
Don't go too far! There is at least one more very interesting news to give this week. I'll post it very soon, so stay tuned!
Files were removed at the end of the month. Soon you will receive an email, so you can download them again from MyMiniFactory.
