Odyssey - October Monthly Release

Hi everyone!

Let's go with the launch of this month! This time we move to some myths a little different from the one we are used to, but still well known: Greek mythology! The ideas for this pack have varied a lot throughout the month, so there is going to be a lot of explanatory text in this post, let's get started!

Let's start with the minis. A good adventure requires a hero to match, and these two are perfect for the job. Based on the mythical Myrmidons and Amazons, these are our warriors.

But if we talk about warriors and Greeks, there are some clear winners in that role: Spartans! At first I started with a more upright and noble pose, but of course it was not enough to give him the appropriate feeling of fierceness in battle, and that is why we have two versions!

As a side note, the battle pose is designed so that it can be stacked to form a defensive wall. Choose your position well!

And now the monsters, introducing probably two of the best known: the minotaur and Medusa. No matter how prepared your heroes are, these two would be tough mid-dungeon bosses. But who is the skeleton guy? Well, as I have told you, the set has changed several times throughout the month (the mythology is VERY extensive) and at first I had focused it on a fight against hades. I finally decided to diversify it a bit, but I couldn't let the boatman go, Charon.

That's it with the minis. Turn for the scenery! We start with some simple models of vases that can serve as markers or objectives, or even as a substitute for loot chests. And also the legendary cornucopia, the horn of plenty that grants whatever you want to whoever owns it.

And finally, a customizable model. Perhaps the most topical and parodied element of the greek theme are the columns. Lots of columns. That is why we have several versions of them (although they are all Ionic).

And not only that. To be sure that there is a column for every need, we also have the modular version, so that you can create your own.
