Pledge annually and save!

Hi everyone,

So what have you guys thought about Beckie Campbell's interview so far?? I'd love to hear you thoughts.

I just wanted to let you all know that you can now choose to pay for Patreon on an annual basis. It’s a great way to show your support to me, and in return you’ll get a discount of [x months free] when you do. In addition to reducing transaction fees, you’ll help me create quality content faster and reduce the chance your credit card declines in the future. Optional: Lock in this discount now before it ends!

For existing patrons the following steps will help you switch over your pledge to annual.

  1. Log in, hover over your profile icon in the top right corner, and select Manage Memberships
  2. From your Active Memberships page click Edit next to the pledge you want to change
  3. You’ll see a familiar checkout page where you can select Annual
  4. Click Update. Note: you’ll be charged upfront for the discounted price

New patrons, visit my Patreon page where you’ll see the option below the “Join” button of your chosen tier.

Check out this help center article if you have any questions about how it works.

Hi Julie, I'm waiting for Patreon to come back to me on this and will let you know as soon as I find out.

Hi Allen i have been trying to change my payment to annuity but can't find the option to do it. Followed the directions you gave but can't do it will still pay monthly though till i can change it.

That's strange, I have it set up...I'll check with Patreon

Hello! I'm not seeing any option either. I think it might depend on your own settings, Allen? In the help centre it says "Select monthly or annual billing (if the creator offers annual membership plans)". All the best to you 😊

Unfortunately I couldn't find it either! But either way, I'm still happy to continue monthly.

It really is. During my FdA, I noticed how easily the lads were allowed to get dark time to design their scenes. When I was LX Designer a couple of times I always felt judged and second guessed my ideas because of it. Biggest lesson I ever learned was not to listen when I got told to use birdies for a disco ball when my original idea was to rig movers to experiment with the beam size against the disco ball

That's a bit strange Pip! Have you clicked into the help centre? I wonder are others having the same problem?

Allen O'Donoghue

Great to hear, it's such an important movement!

I loved the interview with Beckie. I've started looking into the Sound Girls podcasts as well.

I’m not seeing the option available?? Have tried the app and on my laptop and... it’s not there?

Pip
