Making Up For It!
Added 2020-05-07 13:38:12 +0000 UTCHi guys,
I hope you all continue to be safe and well and are taking care of yourselves and those around you.
So I know for those of you who follow me on Twitter, I had said that Episode 2 of Colin's podcast would be out after Sean's, but I've had some technical issues so I won't be able to get it to you until next week, please do accept my apologies on this.
To make up for it though, I will be publishing my interview with one of the most inspirational and amazing ladies I have the pleasure of knowing, Karen Devine. Karen is an absolute gem of a person and phenomenal business person, and so humble and caring at the same time.
Please do keep an eye out on the podcast page https://cacoaching.libsyn.com/
where Karen's podcast will be out very soon!
Peace,
Al

2020-05-11 18:15:24 +0000 UTCI like Karen! And she reminds me of myself in certain details: when she talks about having had to move from Cork to Dublin (due to my dad's job, every year or two, having to move from country to country, and losing my roots, friends and extracurricular activities in the process, if they didn't have them in the new place -- I started ballet, tae kwan do, and who knows what else, but every time I moved, they didn't offer those things), my mom having to sacrifice herself for my dad's job, and getting rid of that nasty habit that I also shared (so hard to get rid of, but I have) of being a pleaser. Good interview!

2020-05-11 16:55:54 +0000 UTCHi Louise, thank you so much for sharing your story with us and for the kind words. It's why I feel these podcasts have such power, they help us all realise that we can actually make changes because these people are just like us!

2020-05-11 10:39:44 +0000 UTCHi Allen, Just listened to Karen's interview great listening to how she grew up and how she progressed in her career. She sounds like a nice woman who seems to give alot to others, I understand how she struggled to say no to people I am very much like that myself. All I seem to do is work and sleep I don't do anything else my life has kinda stopped. Thank you for yet another great podcast. Keep them coming love listening to them.
