Here's the not cropped version of the Bunny Girl doodle I posted on other sites!

~2hrs of struggling...

Here's a timelapse of my struggle too!!!!

Every time I draw I keep reminding myself there's so much to study.... which is what i'm doing whenever I have the chance!

It sounds corny when I type it out loud, but it's also such a wonderful feeling that there's so much to learn and improve HUFFHUFF

[Jan 18] Bunny Girl

Thank you for sharing your struggle with us. Respectfully admiring the bunny. Being able to learn new things constantly sounds fun but challenging too. Looking forward to your exhibitis!

Wow, this is insane, not even mentioning that it's done just in 2h.. Thank you for posting this! I learn a lot from your works, and these timelapses are absolutely priceless for studying, so I'm really grateful you show them sometimes! Let's do our best this year as well!! Looking forward to see your original works and exhibits!!

Herumitto

Your timelapses are always so impressive! Pose and expression is just perfect for a bunny girl! Seeing you in a lot of exhibits is really cool, so even if I can't go to them I'm looking forward to whatever can get shared online. More original stuff sounds great, your OCs are really cute and I love seeing your design sense! Good luck this year!

Thanks for a nice peek behind the scenes!! It's so inspiring to see your process and study work! I have been going through a lot of difficult things in my personal life and so drawing has taken a backseat, but I'm hoping to begin healing and recovering my spark this year. Seeing your process like this helps remind me how satisfying the art struggle can really be. I look forward to seeing you bloom as well with your OCs and can't wait to find out what you have in mind for them. Thank you for always sharing with us ✨ ganba !!

thank you for the repost and looking forward to the exhibits - hopefully they’ll be hosted somewhere I can visit. curious if you are able to share which other sites you post your works on

Marcus

aaahhh the bunny girl magic was super effective 👏 your art continues to grow and improve so much each year, i remember being blown away with your bunny outfits for Ingraham, San Francisco, and Allen M. Sumner. Looking forward to this year's originals and updates!

Im glad Nagu-sensei can be corny with us here😌I think while most people know or agree with the sentiment of learning being fun overall it's kinda fullfilling simply mentioning it here and there. Like a reminder of some sorts or channeling ones feeling about it. Makes me grin like an idiot at least lol. Wonderful bunny girl btw! I really love her eyes and also the lighting is soooo good!

Mr.Noroi

I love toothy grins like that. Super cute

Shes is so cute ! Thank you for the art and time lapse sensei! Definitely a very challenging piece, lighting and pose wise👏👏 Amazing! Hope that we'll be able to see the final piece if you come back to it later. Glad to be able to follow your artist's journey of learning and creation, was surprisingly able to pick up on some stuff myself while following your art ! Hope that I'll have the chance to visit at least one of your exhibits this year sensei ! Good luck and looking forward to it!

So i think it's not corny to say that, but more like something you can be proud of, Nagu-sensei!! Something something from Vagabond said like the moment you know yourself weak, you have become stronger already. Like even the most awesome artstyle you have been having is also from learning experience and experimenting like this!! It reminds me your current style of using black color as background in some character design, which might have rooted all the way in the time you drew Dia in Hoseki no Kuni years ago, or the photograph-like BG is the experiment of the sea girl art years and others years ago too. My point is, keep learning and experimenting, Nagu-sensei. Shirley at some point in the future, that will help you a lot!! That's why i am always excited and trying my best to support you through my way like this too!! Take care, and so excited that this years will be blessed with lots of your OG art and exhibitions too. But don't forget to take care of yourself and don't work too much.

Since the color is already so good, so i want to focus on another thing. Not sure if it's just me, but the hair patterns curling on the reflective surface feel like the rippling waves on water surface, and i find that some what so surreal. And another things are those circles of light outside, making the art feel like a photo with wide aperture, hence the bokek, that's one thing i can see that right away based on my knowledge in photograpgy too (= w=)b I think it's not quite easy to express that through drawing, but you did so well Nagu-sensei!! Well Done!! I think there's nothing corny about you knowing that there's still lot to learn, Nagu-sensei!! Because i think when you know you have a lot to learn, that means you're also quite self-critical to your art too, and i think that's a good thing at a moderate rate. Like i saw your Miku art compliation in 10 years on X last time, and what makes the arts so varied over the time? Development. And what makes the development? Learning

Reykhebaxh

i can't imagine doing this in 2 hours. it would probably take me three times longer (maybe more) ("ówò) but, i will keep drawing and keep learning, sensei! ( òwó)9✨ and, good luck with the upcoming exhibits! ✨ can't wait to see your works there! o(>w<)o

NowaruArt

That's a great feeling to have, it's proof you haven't reached your final form! Thanks for the lovely illustration and timelapse, she looks so cute! Looking forward to all your art this year! More originals sounds exciting, perhaps more onigiri and macaron chan?

wydken

Never enough bunny girls! I especially love her smile, is so radiant. Looking forward to all your project this year Nagu-sensei!

Yato563

Omg, 2 OG art in a month, we're eating good, 10Q so much for showing us, Nagu-sensei!! Not sure about what you're struggling with in 2 hours, but i'll try to say what i like about the art, may be that could line up with what you've been polishing there (heh) (。ゝᴗ•) So first of all, my impression is that the pose for the character you did looks difficult..(O xO) I always thought Nagu-sensei is specialized in like character designing, which focused more on details of character in a neutral pose. But it's so impressive for me to see you can pull a pose that i am sure that this is the thing very difficult to do without model for referencing. So, you're so cool, Nagu-sensei!! Another the thing is that, these sketches feels like your practicing. And i can see that you focus a lot in texture, and in different section with different material too (= w=)b From the glossy of the stocking fabric and hair, to the shading of skin tone (you're so cultural, lol) Anw, it's nice to see you practice too

Vargas

Like how the light behind the Bunny Girl, and as for Bunny Girl...ahem, yes very good, very good indeed...*examines even closer*

RCSI

A very beautiful doodle, Nagu! You're an amazing artist, but the fact that you never want to stop learning shows true greatness. I'm very much looking forward to more originals this year わくわく! And hopefully I'll be in the right place at the right time to also make it to an exhibition... 🙏

お兄ぎり

I really love this Bunny girl's smile! And her ear with all those piercings. Beautiful. You make me so happy, Nagu-sensei. I would love to see how your art evolves in a few years with all the knowledge you will acquire. And wow! You're going to be working a lot, that's great! I'm looking forward to it and excited about everything. You're so amazing ( ◜‿◝ )♡

Chumbeque

Thank you for the timelapse Naguu and good luck with the exhibits! Looking forward to seeing what you draw up for them! I heard X formerly known as Twitter is becoming rougher for artwork, but hopefully things remain fine there.
