Been a bit swamped with work all around so I haven't really been able to draw for myself much recently...
Finished watching GQuuuuuux though!! I saved most of the episodes to watch during travel since I wanted to watch it all at once and I think that was the right choice since I'm already wanting more...but at the same time Ithink this is the perfect place for it to end Q _ Q
Here's the timelapse of the GQuuuuuux doodle I posted!
The size ended up being weird since I sometimes just like to work on a bigger canvas while having the final crop in mind (especially for pictures with backgrounds I like to pain over the borders a little bit)
I also got lazy to do proper lineart so I just painted over the sketch heh
I wanted to talk about some fun things that happened in May (especially the exhibition IGX2025!!) but maybe I'll make that into a different post when I have some time to write up a proper report!
There are more exciting projects I'm participating in that I'm very excited to work on!!

2025-07-22 05:50:41 +0000 UTCHalloween art, which is also the art i like equally, cause it was the introduction illustration piece when you tried the new art style of minimalizing line art i think? Secondly the semi-realistic background in the illustration i think you also had some experiment with the art where there was an ocean in background(i remember and love that one because i didn't know the color you used back then was blue or gray..lol). Or if dated further, then it would be the self-portrait illustration of yourself in office!! What i was trying to say in here is, that every moment you took in the past, whether related to drawing or not, may be just some hours of gaming, have all contributed to what you're now <(￣︶￣)b Even in drawing, every lines you draw is something mattering. So whenever you're swamped with work, even though they might be tiring or stressful sometime, but by going through it, you might learn something, find inspiration or reference in something and become useful in-(..yeah..)

2025-07-22 05:29:20 +0000 UTC...help me realize one thing, that every road you took in the past, has paved up the way as you are now!! (づ ᴗ _ᴗ)づ♡ That might seem vague, or cliche, but hear me out!! You know, the art style, or method that you used for minimal line art like in this art, has only been seen in your Halloween art last year may be? But as i know, it was not the first time you made the art style like that. Because if i remembered correctly many years ago, you also tried to get into gouache painting too. And even though the way it works might be a little bit different(one is physical painting, other is digital drawing), but i think the art style you're doing now can't help but remind me of the time you did those arts of papers back then( ˘ —˘) ~ Or the more recent one, your art in IGX25 exhibition (congrats🎉🎉) is one of my favourites, not only because it's pretty, but because it tells a story too, a story of your art style process. Firstly, the hat from the character was from your-(onore word limit!!)

I also really like the way you did the lighting and covering the layer of fading in the near finishing process, as it does make the feeling of the sunlight directing toward the "lens" of the camera that Machu was taking(= w=)b Also the way you paid attention to the details is so cool too!! Like i like the way you adjust the hair from the character after the sketch, or the way you added light toward the face and head part of Machu too!! To sum it up this is a illustration that really fit the mood of the closing of Gquuuux, an uplifting note i guess, which is quite similar to the first art of Machu that you drew back in the beginning too, as the drawing really fit the vague, and may be a little bit intense setting of the serie (= w=)b Otsu Nagu-sensei!! That was a really pretty illustration!! You know, watching things you did, like the activities you took, or some of the artstyle, model that you approached recently, has...(oh no word limit)

2025-07-22 04:53:46 +0000 UTCAlso, man..can't believe it's been a month since GQuuuuuux finished...(*= w=) The series was so good, as their concept is quite unique. Cause on one side, GQuuuuuux can be counted as a part of UC timeline, but in another way, may be not 100%(｡· v ·｡) ?Like it's quite different compared to non UC series like IBO or Mercury, and even UC series too. But yeah, tbh, i wish they can extend the series to a 24 episodes like previous one, the reference Anno's previous work was so cool (= w=)b And it's been a while that you made another art related to Gundam, so i am glad that you like this series a lot that you took time to make even 2 arts for the series o( ˶^▾^˶ )o The illustration that you made looks so good!! The size might look weird to you, but i think all is in the keikaku(｡ゝᴗ•) Cause the positioning of the drawing among black frames really reminds me of a polaroid picture. And that's even made more sense, when the concept you made is that Machu and Nyan are posing for a photoshoot..

(O wO)b If i read this post back then, i would just know you're busy as always, but not how much the amount of work you took. But reading at the moment, it's so cool to know that you have taken work from two animation studios that made Arknight and Takopi. This is a great achievement, as for the first time, you can take 2 animation works in such a short time. And not only that, this time you even worked as Sakkan and Daini Genga. Looking back in the time you started dipping into animation industry as Genga, it was so happy for me seeing you try your best to become better version of yourself day by day and reach to the place as now ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡ (to be continue..it's a long one..lol)

I've only been hearing more and more amazing things about the series as the episodes came out but I haven't had the time to really sit down and finish it. I watched Witch from Mercury a year or two ago (first ever Gundam Anime I watched, I just never really got around to it I guess) and liked it a lot, guess I should check out GQuuuuuux, I have only heard good things about it!
