Home Page for custom medieval(ish) 'Hearths'.
Each Hearth:
functions as an oven and a fireplace
is base game compatible
can be paired with the Medieval Cookbook which will display a cooking menu directly on the hearth
can cook Grannies Cookbook, Homestead Helper and in game recipes (not available directly through the hearth - use either the object or a fridge)
Please also download one of the required oven tuning packages:
Wood Required - if you are using 'foraged wood' from the Hunting & Foraging Mod
or
No Wood - can light without needing wood

SO after pulling my entire mods folder apart, I have finally discovered the culprit. It was another mod, Scumbumbo's Don't Cook Where You Angry Poop, that for some strange reason was completely preventing me from using the hearths as a stove. I've removed the mod and it is working beautifully now. Thank you for everything, my wife and I have used your mods for a few years now. We love them.

2024-10-14 19:48:10 +0000 UTCYes, they work on regular stoves and I have double checked I downloaded everything. I finally figured out that they work as ovens only, not as stoves. So now I have to figure out what stove top to use. This does make about half of the recipes not work on the hearth alone, however. Am I still doing something wrong?

Thank you also for the slots, my sims put food there, or I can put clutter~ Only worry/question I have, since they also function as a fireplace, will it catch on fire if left alone? There's no option to upgrade to "fireproof", which I why I ask. Thanks again for all your wonderful work!

2024-10-05 06:57:19 +0000 UTCI can not, for the life of me, get these to work. Every time I place them, my Sim starts the food on the counter and then cannot use any of the hearths as a stove. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I am using the UsesWood Tuning.
