February 2024 Trapper Tier Poll

Hello Fellow Trappers!

The time to vote has come! This month is Caverns of Aberrant Horrors, next month is The Scrapslap Goblin Tribes, and January will be The Hero Hunters Lodge. So that being said this poll will be for the February set. As usual each option has three shots to win at which point it will cycle. Leave your vote below!

1. Journey To The Direlands

The Dragon Trappers Lodge has traveled many places but one area is so dangerous that it is rarely ventured to. A wild and untamed place known as The Direlands. A place of brutal competition where life there never stops vying for dominance. It has gained its name due to the fact that nearly every creature found there from squirrels to owlbears are larger more aggressive versions of themselves called "dire animals". Luckily nobody lives out there and the Lodge rarely has need to venture that far out but recently The Prince, who fancies himself a hero has ventured out there to slay some great beast of which he has heard legends. The King is offering a great reward for anyone who can bring him back safe. This set would be all about the wild and savage creatures of the Direlands. From dire-squirrels to dire-bears. Dire-griffins, dire-dragons, dire-literally-anything-you-can-think-of. Dire animals aren't just scaled up versions of their normal counterparts. They are more savage and dangerous many sprouting horns or bony growths. This is the first time this option is in the polls so if it loses it will still have 2 more chances to win.

2. The Critterfolk of Bluewood Barrows

The humble Critterfolk of the Bluewood Barrows live a peaceful life full of friends, family and food. That is until The Horde arrived. Rats, ferrets, foxes and all manner of verminous creatures here to claim the Barrows for themselves and end anyone who stands in their way.  The Critter have no choice but to rise to the occasion and defend the home they love. Will they be able to fight off The Horde? This set would feature woodland animals in all their adventuring gear ranging from mice and hedgehogs, to rabbits and badgers. Otters, moles, you name it. The Horde would feature the villainous rats, ferrets and foxes. The set would be roughly to scale meaning mice would be small sized creatures while a badger would be huge or gargantuan etc. The set would draw alot of inspiration from the classic book series 'Redwall'. If you want a fun lighthearted woodland set full of mirth and adventure then leave your vote below! This is the second time this option is in the polls so if it loses it will still have 1 more chance.

3. Finals at Toadhollows School of Magic

Welcome to Toadhollows School of Magic! Any young mage who takes their craft seriously hopes to be admitted to Toadhollows where they will be taught by some of the greatest minds in magic. If you thought the admission process was tough wait til you get to finals. Finals at Toadhollows are a lot more than writing a simple essay. They prefer to take a more "hands on" approach. This set would feature the players as a group of students at Toadhollows. Finals take the form of a multi stage test of skill and wit as players must work together to pass the various obstacles and pass their finals. This set would draw alot of inspiration from Harry Potter and Strixhaven vibes. We are imagining various wizard characters and would like to create some Owlin characters and perhaps some other less made races of characters. A dragon school teacher or some other fantasy creatures in various faculty positions? Various creatures and challenges they must face in the final. Various homages to the Harry Potter books and films. This is the third time this option is in the polls so this is its last chance to win.

4. Hunt for The Last Sea Angel

The fabled Sea Angel is an extremely rare species of dragon known for their elegant beauty and grace. Above all though they are known for one simple fact, eating a Sea Angel heart grants you a single wish. This reason alone is why they have all but gone extinct. Rumors of the nesting place of the last Sea Angel have surfaced and The Lodge is set to find it before Captain Brimstone and his pirates do. Will they be able to beat him there? Will they be able to keep their own crew from turning against them? Will they take the heart for themselves? Only the dice and your players know. This set would be a high seas adventure featuring all manner of scallywags and rouges. The vibe would be a swashbuckling adventure with lots of fun crew members and ocean monsters. Our take on a kraken, sirens, mermaids. Theres lots of potential in this set for both monsters and pirates. This is the third time this option is in the polls so this is its last chance to win.
