The Quest for the Haunted Hoard Solution - Part 2

So after the last update we found ourselves in The Cellar of the Castle. We also had a few bits of clues left over from the other rooms:

A Cypher STL

A Thing in the Lake STL

four clues with unresolved ends:

Dead 2

lzehsphn 3

Fog 1

Ghost 4

So let us resume our adventure!

1) It's rather dark and dingy in the Cellar, so lets turn the lights up a little and behold what they reveal! A code scribbled into the woodwork - the first part of a link!

Of course it doesn't work and with that / at the end the link appears incomplete.

2) Lets see if the scroll gives us any hints.

There's one key phrase that stands out from all the rest telling us that we've sold the quest if our eye is a bee. Or perhaps if our I is a B on the Cypher! Telling us where to set the dials to decode letters.

3) Now comes the complicated part. We've got numbers and letters from before; we've got a link; we've got a cypher and we've got I is a B. We can obviously now use the cypher to put the letters into it for each set we got.

Finally those numbers, 1-2-3-4. We place the code in the order of the numbers at the end of the link and we get a result! Go on try it now, take out your Cypher print (or open it up in your slicing software to move around digitally) and try the entering the letters.

You'll get a fancy string of letters you can put into the link that will take you to a new spot!

4) The Dungeon. Another dead end it seems. Only this time there's nothing hidden within the image no matter how much you tweak the values. However if you've started doing that you might spot that the default name for the image is a clue in itself!

A simple right click and "save as" and you can see the default name

If we look at the start of a regular discord link

we can see that all we need do is add the latter part to a discord link and poof an invitation to a brand new discord group!

5) Heroes Hideout. The first channel is one to chat with those who have also made it this far. Splitting you into a separate group who have worked their way deeper into the castle.

The other channel holds a journal and nestled within it a code. Looking at the text you can see that there's a series of odd font setups and a pattern. Two italicised words to one bold.

The two italicised are the ones that you have to match up on the Cypher, the bold is the letter you then input and read out the result, giving you a fresh series of code letters which form a new link to a new level of the Vault

6) The Hidden Vault.

Things are heating up now! There's a guardian blocking your way. Like the librarian before we have to dive into the lore and ferret out the answer to just who the first Trapper of the Lodge was.

And of course we all know that is the mighty (and rather jolly looking even with his huge sabre) Azeem

7) Vault Door. So close now, you can smell the treasure (if you're a dwarf, or a dragon maybe). Three colours, another code! This time we take the first letter of each colour and taking them in sets of 3 going down. The first two tell us what two letters to line up on the cypher and the last is the letter we then decode.

This gives us a fresh code: oli

And thus we can enter the Vault itself! Claim the treasure and all the goodies!
