Release Roadmap

We have decided to start providing a road map for upcoming months so you can all see what is planned. It can help you decide whether or not an annual subscription will be for you as well as get us all hyped for what's to come! We'll go over a few changes and then give a brief description of the upcoming sets shown in the road map. Do keep in mind any of this is subject to change and is not final or guaranteed.
There are two changes to discuss. The first is you may have noticed that Children of The Flame are slotted for October and November even though a vote hasn't been held for them like we normally do. This is because we made the executive decision to flesh out our first army before making more to ensure that each of our playable armies are an enjoyable experience of high quality. We feel the CotF are missing some key upgrades for models and there are several new units we'd like to add that will be described below. We will still hold votes for new armies when the time comes up we just want to polish off some others first. We may do the same with the Simiax Legions as well down the road. When yet is not certain.
The second change is that in order to get ahead of schedule and get models as close to the first of the month as possible we are going to start working on them earlier. Really all this means is that we will be running the poll for the September set sooner rather than later in the month like we normally do so we can start planning. Now lets look at what's planned.
Trapper Tier
June 2023
This months release is Doggos and Dragons. If it isn't already in your library by the time this is posted it soon will be.
July 2023
Masters of the Elements is an East Asian themed set drawing inspiration from Avatar The Last Airbender. It will focus on martial arts themed characters and ancient spirits and monsters. You can check out concept art in the discord server.
August 2023
Gods of The Lost Continents will focus on the ancient gods of the dinosaur people of the lost continent. It will revolve around the life and death gods and the ancient temple that has been forgotten to time until now.
Soldier Tier
June 2023
Fiends Of Incancdriox Pt 1. will be the first of four releases of the OPR compatible army being released this month. This first release will feature the Drakoth units, Abyssal Hellkite, and wardrake units.
July 2023
Fiends Of Incancdriox Pt 2. will feature the fiendish kobolds, kobold blazzers, Incandriox himself (2 versions as hero and titan), and Incandriox's Immolator mount.
August 2023
Fiends Of Incancdriox Pt 3. will feature the abyssal and infernal fiendbloods, Both hero and infantry units, the warbutcher monster unit, and the cultists
September 2023
Fiends Of Incancdriox Pt 4. will include, the shadow wyrms and corrupters along with hero, tentacle summons, and the hell beast.
October - November 2023
Children of the Flame will update many of the base units and heroes with new weapon options and upgrades along with new models including Kobold Tinkerhulks, Spitfire Wyverns, and soulbond dragon hero mounts.

This month's player characters were the canine warriors that we included. So we do include them, even if they can be rather wild some months. 2023-06-10 21:56:59 +0000 UTCAs a general question, is there a plan to get back to adding a few "Trappers" or player character types to the Trapper Tier? I really liked some of the earlier releases where you had some of those integrated in with the rest of the release. It feels like that has sort of gone away, and its all creatures.. or sometimes wacky stuff I would never be able to integrate into any of my games.

2023-06-05 22:26:59 +0000 UTCI’m kind of bummed out that CotF gets slotted right after fiends since they are so similar esthetically it means we have 6 months of dragonborn related stuff. I’d much rather see 2-4 armies circle month by month. Fae courts and simiax are my favs right now and this means the coming half year I’m just sponsoring for goodwill I guess (annual)
