June 2023 Soldier Tier Poll

Hello Fellow Trappers!

We hope you are enjoying this months Sea Lords Tide set. We hope you are enjoying our One Page Rules compatible armies. The April set will be the massive Rift Kaiju and May will be The Darkwoods. Due to some suggestions from our friends at one page rules we are making some changes to the poll this month. From now on armies that win the vote will be the army we work on for the next 2-4 months. This allows us to expand and explore an army more fully giving it more upgrade options and variety as well making sure we are putting out quality armies that are fleshed out and balanced instead of churning out a new one every month. This also allows us to create new armies in the soldier tier instead of only using previous models to make armies from since we can break up the set between several months. Additionally we will now be having four options in the polls and dropping off armies after 3 chances if they haven't won similar to the trapper tier. That being said we removed the crawler hordes and Tribes of the North from this months poll.

1. Children of The Flame Pt. 2 and 3

As our first army, this set has some room for improvement. If this option wins we would start by updating the army list. As for what models would be added, we would add more weapon upgrade options to most units especially the base draxi units and the heroes which only have one weapon option. We would add more hero options as well as any other units that might be able to utilize it. We want to add some Kobold saboteurs as a melee unit, a new large sized unit of winged draconian type models, Variants to the wardrake models so you can choose poison or ice themed wardrakes. Some classic wyverns that had to be cut from the last release and lastly another hero mount that is in between the wardrakes and strike dragons so there is a lower point cost option. This set would be created over the next 2 months.

2. The Simiax Legions Pt. 2

This set would allow us to flesh out the second half of the Simiax Legions. It would include undead variants of many of the units that had to be cut as well as the raise dead ability. Additionally there where some units we had planned that we had to cut. Namely larger dinosaur mounts for the Gor'kul (gorilla warriors), A large flying hero mount, a giant bat like creature, as well as the dreaded Pyropithecus, A massive ancient demonic ape that has mastered the power of the Red Flower. This set would only be a single month.

3. Fiends of Incandriox Pt. 1-4

This would be a large army revolving around the evil demon dragon offspring Incandriox. His army would consist of demonic entities and the demonic, draconic monstrosities they've spawned. We'd create Incandriox's other forms as well as his lieutenants, his demonic dragonborn warriors, and their war engines. This would be a large army and progress the story of the dragons war. As such it will be fulfilled over 4 months.

4. Wasteland Ravagers Pt. 1-3

This army would be made for grimdark future and utilize the models from the Lodge of The Wasted set as well as the updated versions from the Journey Through The Astral Sea set. We'd make units out of the current models as well as flesh out more upgrades and variants. We'd create some new heroes and some stats to the amazing Wurmbait III. More vehicles! More mayhem! More violence! This set would be fulfilled over 3 months.
