Time To Vote For The March 2023 Theme!

Hello Fellow Trappers!

We hope you are enjoying this months Children of The Flame set! To recap what we have planned January will be our Rise of The Farmomancer set, February will be the Dragons of The Lodge set, and now we must vote for March! Leave your vote for your favorite theme below and remember that if your vote doesn't win it doesn't mean it is gone forever.

May Your Blades Stay Sharp And Your Flesh On Your Bones! 

1. The Simiax Legions

Deep in the mountainous jungles of Central Letona resides a powerful empire known as the Simiax Legions. A brutalistic and warlike society of sentient apes rule over crumbling ruins overtaken by vines. Dark magic has allowed them to breed massive brutes of monstrous proportions and the time for war has come. This set would be a jungle set featuring various ape characters. Chimpanzee warriors and mages, evil Orangutan Priests, Gorilla elites, Golden lion tamarins riding giant toucans. Perhaps leopard war mounts or other jungle creatures? Massive gorilla beasts reminiscent of king kong with golden armor. What sort of lodge would something like these brutal fighters have? What kind of dragon would one find lurking in their Jungles? This set would be fresh and new with a darker tone and also be usable as an army using the 'One Page Rules' ruleset. 

2. Invasion of The Oni Warlords

The wise know not to enter the badlands of Okinja for it is home to the fearsome Oni. The 4 Oni Warlords are no longer content with their exile however and have amassed hordes of demonic servants and now march on the rest of Okinja with their waves of demons and evil spirits. In Okinja the longer an oni lives the larger it grows and the 4 Warlords are the largest and oldest of oni kind. This set would explore the evil demons and entities of East Asian mythology and would have a dark gritty tone. Corrupted asian dragons, and Oni riding tiger demons are a few of the imagery we have for this set. Maho blood mages animating corpses like puppets, and undead samurai whose honor left them long ago. We want our warlords to be huge imposing giants embodying evil itself. Each of the 4 Warlords would be huge sized giants and would have several sub-factions similar to the chaos demons from OPR. One would focus on brute force and strength with monsters. Another on speed and cunning etc. This set would likely get more added o over time. The vibes would be similar to Sekiro or the oni from the rising sun game. This set would be a one page rules compatible army and fill a niche in the asian themed army category. 3. The Fey Petal Forests

There is a place in Stoica where a portion of the feywilds spill into the material plane. Massive flowers bloom here and many of the creatures here are effected by the magic. This set would be a flower themed set with another flower themed dragon or butterfly dragon, flower based fey, plant monsters and creatures all with an other worldly flower twist. Haflings? Elves? This set would be light hearted and full of whimsy. We would see if this set could make a good army but we don't want to force it. Lots of room to explore with this theme and we are sure you could all come up with some amazing ideas.

4. Zealots of Morkarth

Now that Morkarth has returned he has decided to take advantage of the ongoing war with Incandriox. He believes that he can rise to power and subvert Incandiox using his own cunning and machinations. His forces consist of the religious clerics and paladins that once sought to destroy Morkarth now turned and risen to do his bidding. Undead hordes now serve him,  though not shambling messes of rotting flesh. These are the blasphemous undead of the most holy of servants. Powerful and armed with plate and sword they march forward seeking to destroy all those who stand in their way. Dragon ghosts? Undead gods? Spectral soldiers? This would be an undead army with a heavy religious slant and would add to the lore of the dragons war and be OPR compatible.
