2025-02-17 17:22:13 +0000 UTCDefinitely prefer the conversational style if on camera, or if you're reading the script you should get one of those under camera prompter things so you're not looking off to the side while reading, and the improvisational/conversational stuff should come naturally. I say this as someone who can't bear to be on camera, so do what feels best for you, and find your groove, man. And more guitars and fuzz pedals and amps.

2025-02-17 08:50:19 +0000 UTCI like both. While 1 feels more true to your usual form audibly, 2 feels more comfortable to watch. If I opened my subscription feed to *watch* one of these, I would prefer to watch 2. If I wasn't actively watching, I would prefer 1.

2025-02-16 23:20:11 +0000 UTCIf you’ve got the camera on you, I vote conversational style. Watching you read the script felt like I was looking at something I wasn’t meant to see. Having you look into the camera felt more natural and like there was a conversation happen. The next time we’re feasting on footage though, script read all the way!

2025-02-16 23:11:18 +0000 UTCI am more partial to the script read version because that is how I'm used to hearing your voice. I typically play your videos when at home doing things and I don't watch the screen at all times anyway. But either way is ultimately fine, and I like the experiment.
