I need your OPINIONS!

I've been working on a true crime story video about the Ellie Nesler case. I came up against a bit of a problem. There was next to no videos or photos that I could find associated with the case.
I don't want to use stock footage so I figured I'd turn the camera on and see how it goes.
This is quite new territory for me so I wanted to see how you all felt about it.
Coming up, I've recorded 2 different versions of the opening section. One of them is closer to my usual work, where I read from a script and don't venture far from what I've written.
The other, is more conversational, where I don't use the script at all and draw from my memory to tell you about the case.
I'll upload both versions right now, then run a poll to see which style you all think works better.
Looking forward to hearing your opinions and thoughts and I want to express, that I'm really not emotionally attached to how this presentation is. If you have some harsh criticisms, I definitely would like to hear that.

I like the "scripted" style, because its different from most of whats out there-- I feel like there are sp many podcasts/creators that take a more conversational style, and a the scripted style is what sets your channel apart!

While I do think it's lovely to see you being yourself in the second one, I think something important to your channel is lost when you're not taking a case "seriously" (I say that in quotes because I don't know how else to phrase this, haha). I think your devoted fan base is partially BECAUSE of how thoughtfully you approach your content - I never feel like I'm being advertised to, or like you're only in it for the views. Your work is so genuine, and by being faithful to the original story, you continue that genuine-ness! I hope that makes sense!
