Predator Commentary. Jerry Kosis (Pages 1-10)
Added 2024-09-18 02:14:55 +0000 UTCAs always, thanks for being patient. Jerry has been... very, very interesting. To say the least.
Keen to hear your thoughts on the man after getting through this round of pages.
I'll keep you all posted on times that I'll be streaming the next trial video.
Take it easy and speak soon.

2024-09-27 03:11:52 +0000 UTCOh absolutely. My mom opened my mind to that a hit more, as she works as a counselor in the mental health field. Granted if it was my child I would be pissed and not consider whether they are circumstantial or preferential.

2024-09-19 21:48:04 +0000 UTCYeah, the preferential/circumstantial difference was something I hadn't known about until I started researching this sort of behaviour. It does add an element of interest, trying to understand where each offender may land. In Jerry's case here, I have quite a lot of thoughts on the whole thing which i'll save up for the end. But I do think he's a mix of both, although his preferential side could more than likely be a result of long years of circumstances.

2024-09-19 13:08:43 +0000 UTCRight now I’m working on getting some degrees that would aid in that journey. Other than that just working on making connections internally so I have a helpline IF I get accepted. Fingers crossed

2024-09-19 05:52:39 +0000 UTCI do like that (in comparison to others) you have also acknowledged the idea of circumstantial and preferential predators. I think that's something a lot of people don't think about. Not that it makes it better, just that it changes the concept and idea of how the predators brain works and how they were thinking in the moment. Though in a lot of the predators you've covered it seems this show really has taken some awful people off the streets.

2024-09-19 05:49:20 +0000 UTCI’m always kind of fascinated by the backstories the decoys make up. Do they do it just to entertain themselves? To help them get into the role with a more complete character? The predators never care about their personal lives, so it’s an interesting question to ponder.

2024-09-18 09:36:38 +0000 UTCMy first big surprise was learning that he was 30 at the time! Seeing him at the sting I'd assumed he was at least 10 years older. Between this guy, hamburger and Raymundo (24, really?!) being a pred really seems to wear at the body the way it eats at the soul.

2024-09-18 09:00:03 +0000 UTCI bet most of the decoys are well into their adulthood. The dream isn't dead haha Also that's is very flattering to read I helped I source that career path. How far into that journey are you?

2024-09-18 06:00:44 +0000 UTCThe case of Melissa Rockensies comes to mind. There are some text between her and her student that are worth looking into and she got away with it. also alexsia saldaris with jennifer larson might be worth a look. They tried to set up a 3 some with male student.

2024-09-18 05:42:31 +0000 UTCUsed to watch tcap when I was younger and wanted to be a decoy so bad. Wish I could now too, but I’m too old. Your videos in part inspired me to look into working in the child crimes unit in the FBI.

2024-09-18 05:27:24 +0000 UTCI'm happy to trudge through it with you haha I always knew about the program and admittedly, watched it a fair bit over the years. But I never went into detail like I am now, it feels like a new world that I uncover with each video.

2024-09-18 05:06:09 +0000 UTCAh, is that the commissioner who shot himself when police arrived at his house? I'll head over to Tracer's channel shortly and suss out that info. For sure would be interested in covering it. I actually wanted to dive into that man's chat log but I'm uncertain if it's available.
Dave's Lemonade
2024-09-18 05:05:56 +0000 UTCVery interesting indeed. Where is the info coming through about these situations and where could I obtain the chat logs?
Dave's Lemonade
2024-09-18 05:04:55 +0000 UTCI think it would be interesting to see you cover one of the many cases lately of female teachers abusing young boys. Hearing you read out the texts with gender rolls reversed would be worth it.

2024-09-18 04:58:11 +0000 UTCCheers Dave! I was wondering if you'd checked out Skip Intro's new video on TCAP? It answers a lot of lingering questions I had about the guy who killed himself during a police raid, so it's pretty interesting, and I wondered if you'd ever covered this part of the TCAP lore.
