New Terrain Tier
Added 2021-11-23 19:47:33 +0000 UTCHello Fellow Trappers!
We've heard your feedback on our last post regarding a new terrain patreon and wanted to give you an update. It seems that a little less than half of you supported the idea and most of you weren't too fond but instead suggested a new tier as an alternative. Initially we didn't want to do this since it seemed like it may make it too convoluted to add more tiers but we realized that would probably be less convoluted than people having to sign up for a new patreon all together. Some concerns people had where that we wouldn't be able to deliver. Well we have hired more sculptors and we have more than enough people to get more models done. The quality will not be going down. The actual release size will fluctuate slightly like usual but we will be aiming for at least 30 miniatures minimum plus resin scatter terrain on top of that and at least 15 to 20 pieces of larger terrain for the terrain tier. The merchant tier will have access to everything and wouldn't need to change or increase their pledge so for them it is an added bonus. The current trapper tier will focus on minis and small resin scatter terrain and remain at $10. There will be a new tier that will be for terrain only and it will include resin scatter and larger models usable on fdm printers and will be priced at $5. Lastly there will be a third tier that includes everything both terrain and minis priced at $15. We also want to start doing epic size mounted lodge type models every month instead of once in a while and put it in this tier since it is sort of of a mini and terrain at the same time. It also allows us to make them more often without taking away from the normal amount of smaller sized models we release each month. We think this allows you to get some of the best value available from mini patreons while also allowing us to expand and offer more to a new market. This new tier will be launched in mid December and we plan to start including the epic models in January and see how they do. We appreciate all the feedback you've given us as we expand and grow and we can't wait to show you whats next!

As a merchant, I really appreciate this. Thank you for putting so much effort into making the value of your patreon truly outstanding.

2021-11-24 06:15:10 +0000 UTCIf you are currently already in a year sub will you just be charged the difference to go from the $10 to the $15 tier?
2021-11-24 02:59:55 +0000 UTCthat is correct

2021-11-23 22:54:30 +0000 UTCThe standard monthly is $10, the standard yearly is $100. With a new tier of $15, will the yearly be $150.

2021-11-23 21:12:27 +0000 UTCThe big lodges will be for the $15 tier. We plan to make them resin compatible still.

2021-11-23 21:12:11 +0000 UTCthat's good to know

2021-11-23 20:43:19 +0000 UTCSo we can't get the lodges unless we sub for $15? Are the lodges filament print only?

2021-11-23 20:43:13 +0000 UTCAccording to patreon that is how it will work. You’ll just pay the difference in tiers.

2021-11-23 20:42:27 +0000 UTCUnfortunately there is no way to incorporate the original early bird for the new tier.

2021-11-23 20:41:15 +0000 UTCHow will us yearly subscribers add the terrain to our current patreon? Will there be a way to convert our remaining time into a new yearly membership with the terrain and pay the difference?

2021-11-23 20:35:49 +0000 UTCI think this is the best way to go and I think $15 is just right for what you have laid out. It will be a shame to drop my early bird spot but I'm excited to see what these new releases will look like!
2021-11-23 20:35:07 +0000 UTCThank you for giving us merchants extra bonuses ^~^ we can't wait to see where this leads!

2021-11-23 20:24:50 +0000 UTCSounds good :) A side note... a suggestion I had before for a different patreon looking to add a 2nd tier with more stuff (I think was Heroes Infinite... ), that I'm now remembering... (they ignored the idea in the end... but maybe you'd like it) Essentially... instead of adding the extra stuff as a 2nd tier, add these items as a pack of things to purchase on MMF, priced at whatever you normally would for retail, and send discount code to us here to be the price you want it to be for patrons. This way, no one has to move tier, or lose an earlybird... or mess about with their annual subscriptions etc. People can just purchase an addon via MMF if they want it. Also, if one month you're not feeling it, you don't have to produce the extra terrain etc :) Or if you want to produce more, it's optional extra to purchase etc etc. Looking forward to it either way, but aye... losing EB tiers and messing with annual subs could be disheartening to longterm patrons

2021-11-23 20:20:19 +0000 UTCWhat about us early bird trappers?

2021-11-23 20:14:33 +0000 UTCPretty incredible deal for us merchants. Thanks!

2021-11-23 20:10:57 +0000 UTCUnfortunately there’s not a way to change it and preserve the early bird status. If you switch to a new tier you’ll just have to pay the difference.

2021-11-23 19:57:13 +0000 UTCGood call! I'm down! Let's do this!

2021-11-23 19:55:15 +0000 UTCI appreciate the transparency! This is the ideal solution for me, having just one patreon with multiple sub types makes it much cleaner and easier.
