2021-12-01 06:50:24 +0000 UTCI agree, asking least favorite isn't fair without also knowing why someone picked it as least favorite. I like all the months but some more than others. I feel like the early released have little variety compared to the more recent ones, doesn't make them bad just easy to pick in this case when comparing to more recent releases.

2021-11-18 03:07:20 +0000 UTCHaving lived in africa, I was pumped for savannah. Unfortunately it seemed to be mostly baboons (ie a pest), which was disappointing as there are so many super awesome animals you could have used

2021-11-17 21:44:13 +0000 UTCI like the majority of the sets, some are just not as great as the rest

2021-11-17 16:17:29 +0000 UTCI picked June and August 2020 because I found the posing on the trappers to be a little lacklustre. I had to be that nitpicky because the your worst is still better than a lot of people's best.

2021-11-17 15:43:31 +0000 UTCI think some of these make a bad impression on the theme you were going for just because they were your first sets and just had less things. I love arabian nights, jungle, and ice themed things, but a lot of those sets here just didn't amaze me like most of your stuff does

2021-11-17 14:09:10 +0000 UTCI think February 2020 gets a bad rap because it was your first release and stuff was still getting figured out and it is the month with the least minis. I found the hunter for February to be really unique with a great body frame and really expressive face compared to other sculptors and I really enjoy desert themes. I think the area could be hashed out much more extensively in a later release now that your team has found their stride.
2021-11-17 14:02:49 +0000 UTCThis was tough. I can understand Feb 2020 as, especially once you look at the progression of the sets made, it's just the "least" set. Given the lore that gets written, it was basically a travel scene between locations and nothing more. Sept 2021 feels weird... I remember it and going "oh, that's cool" and reading the detail... but comparing it to everything else it's... it's like going to a party and the only thing they have is finger food. At first you're content... but then you realize there's only 6 things going around and you like/can only eat 2 of them. It's just not there. Note: IMHO, the Nov and Oct 2021 sets are cool, but way too much terrain/scatter. A story can be told with basically every set, but those 2 feel like I can do the same detail story with 2-3 pieces of terrain/scatter... but have ~15-20. (I voted for more minis/less terrain in the other poll)

2021-11-17 12:39:15 +0000 UTCasking this was not fair. none of your sets are bad. That being said... the lack of lore for the dragon riders was disappointing for me

2021-11-17 09:38:34 +0000 UTCI'm really surprised to see December 2020 and September 2021 get so many votes here, not just because I like them both so much, but because I think of them both as such good examples of a really strong, well-executed theme in a very classic DTL style. I have a slight gripe with Dec20 in that the scaling's all over the place, but I ranked it as one of my two favourites, and have printed more of it than any other release.

2021-11-17 08:54:00 +0000 UTCI wanted to say that both of my picks are for specific models, the feb 2020 for the camel (it's not inaccurate or anything, i guess I'm just racist against camels) because something about her just bothers me. The December 2020 is for the big headed dolphin munchkins. I think the other models in these releases are spectacular, but you asked for my least favorite, and these two releases have the only models i actually dislike from you, so there's your answer! I don't think you should necessarily not make other models like them, i just dislike those ones specifically.

2021-11-17 08:28:32 +0000 UTCI feel a bit sad seeing September 2021 rated so badly :( I really liked this set even if it didn't get to my top 2. I still haven't printed/painted it but this is just because of the holiday time in September when I was out of town. Otherwise I like the theme of the last set (November 2021) but I don't think I will print anything from it (at least not fast). I don't use terrain at all (even if I really like the trees with faces!), I'm too lazy for modular feys (and they are not exaclty my style) and I miss the monsters (I guess with the bases between 40-100mm). Still: I like the dragon a lot - it may be the first dragon I ever printed but it won't be soon - I have too much to paint for now and this size of dragon would be a bit commitment.
2021-11-17 06:33:40 +0000 UTCThats good feedback. Maybe if they revisit that area they could expand it out more

2021-11-17 04:15:05 +0000 UTCFeedback on my main choice in case it helps! I was underwhelmed by the Sept 21 set mostly because it felt very... safe? and limited in variety compared to huge variety of potential inspiration sources from that biome and culture (and compared to the variety spread from other biome releases!)
