In regards to classics, I love your wild takes on them. Like give us one of the unique beholder designs that we chose the angler one from. So I wouldnt mind seeing some more of them just infused with your style or a unique theme.

James Constantino

I will pile on with loving the unique monsters. It's what sets you guys apart. And I like the hybrid monsters, especially when it seems more than just wings on an existing animal. (eg. the rhino turtle, mandrilcore, etc.) Although the Hippogriff is hilarious and was the very first model i ever printed.

Darren

I really like unique monsers, what im not a fan of really is animal hybrids - a lot of the time its just chuck a set of wings on animal and call it a (insert animal name)-dragon .

Robert Russell

For reference, although they're not shown in the art, there are almost always alts for the pack animals without any "clothes".

Josh Rodell

My couple of coppers in on this. I love the uniqueness of your work so far. That's what drawn me in and kept me. The unique designs and reimaginings, the fun themes and the lore and world building you have been doing. I don't mind of occasionally you want to do something different, a hey all we want to do a space theme around asteroid miners and the creatures they face. Thats cool, but the real draw is the unique designs and style you put into everything. I love the dragons, I loves the monsters, I adore the trappers you come up with. I may not fanboy over every set as not everyone is my cuppa tea, but you still bring unique and fun things every time. And that, that is what keeps me.

Ive said it before and Ill say it again, Multiple poses for creatures. When a party encounters a Bugbear, a gnoll, a goblin.. ..its usually not just one. If we want to use creatures in a group, we have multiples of them in the same pose...... Not ideal. I would also like to see you go back this next year and flesh out areas you have been to with maybe more creatures from each area. Id like more tundra. plains, forest, jungle etc... we dont need a new place every month with 5 creatures and 5 humans. It would be nice to have a selection to run a campaign around. If you have one boss monster, its cool if you have only one pose. But if you have packs or groups of something, give me multiples, different poses and or modularity so I can make different weapons etc. Also if you make pack animals Id love an option with it just naked. If there is a rhino beast for example. It would be nice to also allow characters to come a cross a heard of them in the wild. It expands the playability of the creature and gives people who might just want to paint it an option to paint it with out a rider, saddle etc. You are the only patreon Ive subed to for a year subscription because I love some of your unique creatures, but from time to time it would be nice to get some classic D and D models. Overall I think you guys are the best, just dont get wrapped up in scatter terrain and buildings etc. More minis more creatures with more poses and modularity is in my opinion the best road forward

Michael Abraham

I ticked for the pose variations (modular would also cover this) for wargames; however I feel that the subject of wargames is a whole topic unto itself. Even if you don't copy-cat a model line from an existing franchise in terms of design themes; I think that wargames themselves tend to require models of certain sizes more so than RPG games or artistic models printed just for the fun. Fantasy especially for those troops that might have to stand close together to rank up (even if the game doesn't use rank formations close posing is important). I think it you went for wargames it would be very important to be aware of model sizes in the market and perhaps to choose a franchise to model after in terms of giving you an idea how big to make models (what base size they fit) and such. Even if you do your own unique style of army; having one that its "based off" conceptually helps a lot.

Funny that you mention sci-fi...I just recently cut back my supported monthlies, and my two most recent ones were yours and a sci-fi one. Really liked what was in the sci-fi, but yours won out.

Honestly I am in love with the themed sets that you do that could almost be a one shot in itself. I am not into terrain as I can make that myself, and I really like the story that each set tells.

Clara Drake

Why not if i may ask? I understand dynamic models are hard to do and i would not want these replaced by modular models but if they have a modular variant, wouldn't that be better?

Frans

I don't mind some of your modular early stuff (eg. Batu). Not really a fan of the newer stuff that has a million pieces.

Harry Colquhoun

Also, I think the main thing with modular, is just the option to have it alongside non-modular. Still have the usual single-loadout model as current (for those that want to just print and go), but then also have a version say, without hands (and then have hand+weapon options, including empty hands for meshmixing our own weapons in). This way the non-modular crowd is happy, but the modular crowd is too :)

I prefer character/PC types and monsters, basically stuff I can use for my game, but the occasional weird boy is a nice thing.

please no modular

Ryder Frankle

Just to add, I would vote for more diorama possibility, but not even slightly interested in busts (might have been better separating those 2, as very different)

Just keep doing what you've been doing!
