Skybreak Lodge Update

It's Austin here, the head of the creative team at The Dragon Trappers Lodge. I wanted to give everyone an update on the Skybreak Lodge! As you can see from the renders above this model is amazing! It is huge and extremely detailed and we can't wait to get it out to you. This project was bigger than we anticipated and there are a lot of problems to solve so it has taken much more time than we had planned for. Right now the sculpt is finished and signed off on which means we are now onto the cutting and test printing phase. We are not exactly sure how long that will take as we have to do that while also continuing to release monthly sets but rest assured we are working hard to get this model out to you.
Once it is finished we plan to release the file to all current patrons as well as anyone who has ever been a patron to us. So if you have to cancel for some reason don't worry you will still get it, though we appreciate the support if you stick around. The model will be cut for fdm printing and the smaller finer bits like whiskers and roof ornaments will be supported for resin. We debated for a while on weather to cut it for resin but at the size and scale it is, not only would it cost hundreds of dollars in resin, the model would be extremely heavy and also the potential for warping in so many pieces would be very high. The model will however come with a scaled down display version that won't be at a playable scale but will be cut to print on resin printers as well as a version of the whale with no lodge that we can do a smaller playable scale for as well if people want that. The interior of the full scale model will be playable with removable roof sections and it will include a stand for it so you can have it floating majestically above your gaming table. We really appreciate all your support and patience and we wouldn't be here without you so thank you!

Hey Mike. It's still in the works, slated for 2023. The original file broke everyone's computer so it needed to be rescuplted. It's a long tough process to get it fixed. We hope to send it to you and bring it to GenCon

Personally I might put some guns on it, tether it to a ballon and use it as a dirigible for my Nurgle pirates :O
