Vote For The October 2021 Theme

We hope you are enjoying this months Dragontstrike Set and we can't wait to see what you paint up from this months release! The August set will be the Frontier Trappers Set and September will be the Savanah Trappers set. So what would you like to see for the October set? This month we will be adding an optional theme to vote on that fits a spooky vibe. If this option isn't selected however we will not roll it forward for the next month. So let's take a look at what themes are available.
Arctic Trappers
This set would be cold icy themed and take place far above the northern regions of Stoica and Okinja in brutal and desolate cold. Some ideas we have for this set include; a sentient snowman trapper with rage issues, a crystalline ice dragon or maybe a walrus dragon instead? a mammoth like centaur, an Inuit inspired druid with wild shape forms. The possibilities are endless. I'm sure we could come up with even more ideas as a community.
Subterranean Trappers
Deep below the surface of the earth are vast net works tunnels and caverns, home to all manner of people and monsters. There is no where trappers won't go and this set would feature individuals specialized for working in the darkness of the world beneath the surface. Dwarves, aberrations, burrowing dragons, rock monsters, giant moles, maybe a steampunk twist? You name it.
Sub Aquatic Trappers
We've done islands and pirates but what about a set that is fully underwater? Merfolk? kraken? or maybe instead of merfolk we go for more of a submersible theme with the trappers in their own mobile aquatic base? Deep sea horrors? What creatures lurk in the depths where only dragon trappers dare to venture?
Dino Trappers
This set would be all about prehistoric monsters. Dinosaurs abound, a tar pit golem made of bones and held together by tar, saurian trappers, maybe giant carnivorous plants? The savage lands in the far south of Letona are beginning to be explored. We would love to explore this theme and hear what suggestions you have as patrons.
Halloween Theme
This theme would be fit for the month of October, Pumpkin monstrosity, giant spider monsters, undead versions of popular creatures. Perhaps a dracolich or a ghost dragon. Old hags, van helsing inspired trapper, classic Dracula style vampire. If this options doesn't win it won't roll over to next month.

I’d love to see a twist on the pumpkin carriage concept for the building on a giant creature. Maybe some sort of pumpkin spider hybrid with a crypt on its back?

2021-07-21 01:50:34 +0000 UTCHonestly, I'd like to see all 5 of these done (really cool concepts) however... went with Halloween, as it just makes most sense for october's theme (and I know you'll do great stuff for it!). Please do keep the remaining 4 options on the poll next month (no new additions though, 4 is enough to choose from)

2021-07-20 21:46:18 +0000 UTCDefinitely supporting the "one month only" option but moving forward I would definitely love to see the sub-aquatic theme narrowed to focus on non-aquatic trappers geared up to operate in the deep. It's a pretty specific subset of what you were talking about but I find that more compelling, personally, than merfolk trappers.
