Hello Fellow Trappers! Lets learn some more about the models for this month!

Arcane Dragons are not necessarily their own species. Any greater dragon can become one as they are simply a dragon who has taken up the arcane arts and become a mage. These dragons are very dangerous and should not be trifled with lightly. They are very clever and are capable of very powerful magic. Luckily they are able to be reasoned with and that should be the first plan when dealing with one as fighting them will almost always result in heavy casualties for trappers and citizens of the surrounding area. Some veteran trappers just recommend moving anyone effected by the dragon instead of dealing with the dragon but other trappers believe they must be exterminated since if they are left to their own devices, will only grow in power. When facing one be sure to plan in detail what your strategy will be taking into account every possibility.. Protection from enchantment magic is important to carry and if you intend to use magic against one be certain you are prepared to possibly have it used against you.

Whisper Demons are foul beings found lurking in the dark places of Stoica. They stalk the mossy forests of the north, quietly seeking out those who would break the silence. They track down noise and kill the person making it. Death by a whisper demon is torturous as it will often intentionally cause it's victim to suffer til their voice is raw and they can no longer scream. Then it will finally end their suffering, content that their victim will be unable to make noise in the next life either. Some have said that it is possible to negotiate with the demon. One may trade their voice for their life and sign his scroll. By doing so you will not be able to ever talk or have a verbal noise again but you will escape with your life. Whisper demons can usually be avoided by simply staying quiet when in an area they are known to be found. They are mostly attracted to sound but won't hesitate to move towards light either. It can cast spells that silence an area so be sure to have magic prepared that doesn't require verbal components and be aware it is naturally restraint to magic effects. Any noise made within the vicinity of one will cause a person to go mad and can cause extreme psychic trauma.

The Great Owl Griffin is the cousin of the more widely known Common Griffin. They are beautiful and majestic creatures but also deadly. Despite their massive size they are very very quiet and it is not uncommon for both a mount and rider to go missing in a matter of seconds from being carried off by an Owl Griffin with no one noticing. Be extra aware when traveling through heavily wooded areas in northern Stoica. They are largely nocturnal so travel during the day is recommended with a watch set up a night as they are not shy of poaching sleeping travelers.

Gargoyles are considered a nuisance in central Stoica where they can blend in amongst the ruins of castles that scatter the landscape. They will dive down and pick off travelers daring to brave the night and are very active once the sun goes down. They make for great practice for greenie trappers who are learning to combat flying enemies and they are good for picking up a quick coin.

Lilith and her crew of dragon trappers are widely criticized by other lodges for their unorthodox and sometimes unethical approach. The lodge often tries to publicly distance them selves from lilith and her crew but when it comes down to the jobs that no one else can do they call her. Lilith is a witch that has been involved with the lodge for a couple centuries now. Her origins are vague but the most common story is that her family was killed by a dragon when she was a child so she made a deal with a demon that granted her the magic and power to slay them. Over the years she gathered her motley crew of trappers and they honed their skills, operating as a unit and becoming by far one of the most efficient group of trappers.

Ooberon is monstrous creation of lilts making. A semi sentient ooze composed of the dissolving remains of its rotting food. How or why Lilith created such a thing is not certain but some rumors whisper that Ooberon was once a lover that had spurned Lilith. Wild speculation? Perhaps, though unlike other oozes there does seem to be a spark of intelligence behind those empty eye sockets. Ooberon is able to get into difficult places and then eat through locks and doors allowing the rest of the group to pass through. It is also very resistant to magic which is useful when fighting Arcane Dragons.

Azaezal was cursed long ago when he accepted a deal with his patron the dark one. In fact it was Lilith who had lifted him out of the mud and shown him there was a way to get the power he sought. He became a warlock and lost his face but gained power. With each soul he takes he grows in power and there are no greater souls than those of dragons. His dark magic is very useful in combating the draconic forces but it is suspected that it not just the souls of dragons he collects. His appearance is unsettling to most people so he almost exclusively works with Lilith.

Vlakir is a vampire who in his past life was a simple stable boy. Now he is so much more. The first several decades of his transformation where wrought with carnage and bloodlust. Every moment was filled with an insatiable desire to feed. Eventually Vlakir met a traveler from a far off land called Okinja. This stranger claimed they had learned to control their bloodlust through meditation at monastery in their homeland. Eager to gain control of his life again Vlakir traveled to the foreign land of okinja and tracked down the monastery where he trained for 30 years in the way of the katana and self mastery. While the thirst for blood did not leave him it is much more manageable now. Feeling guilt for the suffering he caused, he joined the lodge in an attempt to balance the scales. Unfortunately no other trappers was willing to work with a vampire. Except for Lilith's crew. While it is not something he is proud of he still needs blood to survive though no one is quite sure how he obtains it.

Jeremiah is the blacksmith for Lilith's crew. Having a smith to be able to repair weapons and armor while on the road is very useful. On top of that he is a crafty tinkerer and is constantly innovating and improving on existing designs, trying to get whatever edge they can on the dragons they hunt. Any crew would be ecstatic to have Jeremiah on their crew except for one small issue. He is a werewolf. This fact is what causes most other trappers to refuse to work with him. It is also what makes him a perfect fit for Lilith's crew. Jeremiah learned to smith after contracting lycanthropy. No binding or cage could hold him so he decided he would have to make them himself in order to keep him from hurting people.
