This months release added a new trapper. Each month will now have a veteran trapper with a mount an a fresh greenie trapper. Lets learn about this months models!

The Bloom Tongue Dragon

Bloom Tongues are a species of lesser dragons (meaning they can't speak), native to the south western jungles of Letona. However these dragons are "lesser" only in name as they have been the demise of many skilled trappers. The Bloom tongue gets its name sake from the flower like appearance of its tongue. The dragon uses its long tongue to emit an intoxicating scent that draws creatures in while it uses its color changing skin to stay hidden in the foilage. Once its prey is close enough its tongue snaps closed around its prey, drawing it into the dragons waiting jaws. Capturing and defeating a Bloom Tongue is especially difficult due to their 360 degree vision. Each can swivel independently in all directions making it especially difficult to get the drop on one. Luckily there a several ways a trapper can prepare to hunt one of these subtle predators. Races that have heat vision are at an advantage since they can see past the dragons natural camouflage. Magical items that grant a similar effect are also helpful. It is wise to wear nose plugs when hunting a Bloom Tongue. Though uncomfortable, nose plugs can prevent a trapper from being lured unwillingly to their demise by the dragons intoxicating scent.

Veteran Trapper; Koa, Tyran Battlemaster

Koa was just a young Tyran when the first Dragon Trappers visited his village. They had been tracking an elder dragon responsible for the destruction of a major city in the far northern lands of Stoica and the trail had lead them all the way down to the untamed jungles and plains of Letona. Koa was entranced by their wild stories and varied trophies hanging from their belts. When the trappers asked for a guide to lead them to a nearby valley where the dragon was rumored to be hiding, koa was the first to volunteer. The risk and danger where overcome by his intense fascination with these rugged warriors. The battle Koa watched unfold that day would stick with him for the rest fo his life. It seemed impossible that this band of warriors could defeat such a massive and overwhelming foe. Koa watched from the trees as steel, flame, and magic clashed. When the dust and smoke settled the trappers had won and the scaly tyrant that had caused so much destruction lay dead. Koa convinced them to let him join them on their journey back to Stoica. He traveled further than anyone in his village ever had and trained as greenie at the lodge. He became a skilled trapper and became known for being able to keep his cool in dangerous and intense situations. Eventually Koa decided to go back to Letona, taking what he had leaned from the lodge in Stoica, and opening the first branch of the Dragon trappers Lodge in Letona. Merging the fighting styles of the warriors of Stoica and his native people, Koa trained a new batch of trappers. Koa commands resect everywhere he goes and to many villages is considered a hero.

Greenie Trapper; Xuchatla, Tyran Rogue

No one really knows where Xuchatla came from. One day he just showed up, at the lodge Koa founded, with no possessions. He never speaks or makes a noise of any type for that matter. Xuchatla means 'he who never speaks". The lodge let him stay as long as he earned his keep so they put him to work cleaning and maintaining the lodge. After his chores every day Xuchatla would go out into the yard to practice with the training weapons. Most of the other trappers just saw him as an oddity to keep them entertained. Koa however saw a lot of his younger self in the silent Tyran so he took the boy under his wing and started training him. Koa helped Xuchatla to use his natural gifts to great effect and he is well on his way to becoming a valuable and skilled trapper.

JuJu

Koa found JuJu at an auction where he was being sold by a farmer since he was too stubborn to be put to good work. The lodge was constantly trying to find new mounts since it was difficult to find beasts that could handle the rigorous needs of being companion to a trapper. JuJu was cheap so Koa had little to loose. Unfortunately JuJu was far more stubborn than Koa had realized. JuJu would refuse to move and whenever a trapper would try to ride him they would always be thrown from the saddle. Koa decided he would try and break JuJu himself but the closest he ever got was a mutual respect. While JuJu's stubbornness might be frustrating at times but it is also what makes him such a great mount when hunting dragons. While many mounts would panic at the sight of a mighty dragon, JuJu simply stands his ground, stubbornly resisting even the fiercest of dragons.
